I arrived in kefalonia with a few grains of snuff left in my snuff box - so time to renew from my travelling supply. Except I had not packed it. After running around and jabbering like a monkey for awhile I decided to visit a little gift shop that I had found last year, where I had found a nice nest of small briars. To my joy the nest was still there and I bought two excellent pipes for 14 Euros a piece, some Clan tobacco - all I could find - and settled down to a week of pipe smoking. These little beauties are superb. They smoke well right from the get go and have a very simple condenser widget at the end of the stem. They are quite a bit smaller in the bowl than an average briar and give a ten minute smoke, which is something I really like - the picture makes them look heavier than they are but I would describe them as mini pipes, certainly in the bowl size. A quick Google gave the site above. Very recommended if you can find them.

I just want to tell you I do that all the time with my pipes put two or three in because that shit makes me laugh!

I think I would be officially insane if I went on holiday and found that I didn’t have any tobacco products. At least you got some great little pipes out of the madness. 

Exactly;) And I grew to genuinely love the Clan which I have used on and off for years on grounds of convenience. Reading some reviews about it today it seems to have a reputation of being pure garbage - I think it’s pretty damn good for a newagents/corner shop tobacco. Junk is good sometimes; I love beef Wellington with a glass of good claret, but I also love a pot noodle and a can of coke. It was nice to get back into pipe smoking and I will probably carry on indulging in it because it is pure relaxation.

pipes are super relaxing. I’ve never tried clan but five brothers is a great drug store brand. It’s a very enjoyable smoke. I guess what I’am saying is expensive does equate to great.
