Very off topic. For those of you who follow American wrestling, The Macho man passed away this morning in a car accident. Apparently he had a heart attack while driving and unfortunately crashed head on into a large tree. The Man who told us to stay away from drugs, to " DIG IT", to snap into a slim Jim, and the catch phrase " OOOOHHH YEEAAA". He was a wrestling Icon, a great entertainer, and personally, a childhood hero. He will be missed!

Not a wrestling fan anymore, but I have fond memories from childhood about this man. R.I.P.

That is too bad. He just got married a few years ago.

SuperFly Jimmy Snooka, Iron Sheik, Macho Man, Hulkster, Andre the Giant…I grew up watching those folks…I haven’t watched wrestling in years. Yes, he was a pretty cool cat. RiP.

He also put out a rap album a few years ago. I remember coming across a video for one of the songs on youtube. It was pretty funny. He seemed to have had a hell of a party going on in his backyard too.

A rap album??? WTF??? That’s a bit random for a wrestler. RIP I remember him fondly. Stefan

John Cena made a rap album too. His and Macho Man’s is a million times better than anything Lil’ Wayne did.

I used to love the interviews with Mean Gene…Macho Man was a master of impromtu skits. (Ot on an Ot, if you are a basketball/old wrestling fan there is a mashup on youtube if you look up "LEBRON JAMES FLIPS OUT ON CLEVELAND FANS!!! ". Hit’s home if you live in Ohio, haha!)

I haven’t watched WWF since Desert Storm, but I was sad to hear about Macho Man, for sure. His Hulk Hogan dis rap was pretty funny. He called out Hogan a few years ago for making comments about his family on the radio. Challenged him to a legit wrestling match, prize money to go to a kids’ charity. Hogan wouldn’t have it (wanted a scripted match) and Macho Man donated a good chunk of change anyway. Class act, all the way.

Yeah he was a wrestler from my times in the 80’s. Thats pretty sad because he wasnt all that old. I remember my favorite 80’s wrestlers were george the animal steele, king kong bundy, and rowdy roddy piper. I saw a documentary on jake the snake roberts and man that guy has had a bad life. It was really sad.
