OT - Getting snus and chew in Canada

In Manitoba, the only snus-like product I can buy is Skoal “bandits”, and the only chew is Redman (loose or plug). Snuffstore sells Oliver Twist and some pigtail twist, and of course the American and South African snuffs one can order online may be used orally. I’m looking for an online store that sells American chew and/or Swedish snus and is willing to ship to Canada. Have any other Canadian members here had a good experience with an online provider? I would love to be able to get some American plug and twists, even if I have to pay duty on them.

The Northerner.

And you get a better selection then the americans too. Since I think canadians can order from their sweedish warehouse as well as their american.

Northerner has worked well for me in the past. Bob is right, we can order from both warehouses. Taxes can be high and delays long if dinged by customs, though.

How is Northerner in terms of labeling packages? Do they label on the outside that its tobacco products or anything like that? Thank god I havent been nailed by customs yet due the “Energy Snuff” package descriptions ive been getting from certain snuff supplies.

I wish the Northerner sold Cotton Boll. There’s a place called Lil Browns that sells it super cheap, but if you want to buy it internationally it goes through some jackass company that takes a $57 U.S. order (including shipping) and charges you $105 Canadian. I remember the days when the Canadian dollar was low, but $57 shouldn’t be more than $70 TOPS (and that’s at a bad exchange rate). I told Lil Browns that their international order processor was ripping people off in a huge way (considering that the duty on the package could be up to $100 as well). Northerner it is then.

I just placed on order from Northener, I thought I’d give snus a try so I ordered that Top 10 tryout box. Shipping to Canada was very reasonable.

I’m from Montreal and I use either northerner or Snuscentral.org. Snuscentral has better prices I find. If you keep your orders small, chances are you won’t get hit by taxes. Shipments of 5 cans or less rarely get taxed for me, and shipping is only around 5$ to Canada, so it isn’t too bad.
