I got a note from Transistor that he’s having trouble logging in. He created a second user account (Transistor3) and cannot log in to that one either. He asks that one of the Admins contact him at his email, mailto:bassdv8rb@yahoo.com and help him get back on board. Thanks for any help you can provide him.

I can t logging in with Opera, but all other browsers work…

I stay logged in, and so I am here, but I tried the wife’s laptop last night, and I could not.

Firefox 4.01 no problems.

I just tried to log in on my laptop, (in chrome) I find the website but can’t log in. In IE I can’t even get to the website. On my desktop I had no interruption, in chrome.

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and I can FINALLY log in. I was beginning to wonder what the problem was. ALSO There WASN’T an ALL CAPS thread stating what was going on when I made my other member application. There was eventually, but if there were I would have ceased trying to figure out what was up. If there was an email address or contact link, I would have used it. I had no other way to contact anyone. Also, I realize Alex isn’t responsible for SH anymore, but after I read his last post stating that SH was back to normal and working fine, I just assumed the problem was with my account. Especially since I saw others making posts. So, since Alex was apparently working on SH, I sent HIM the email. My apologies. I didn’t realize it would result in annoyances of any kind. I also didn’t intend to Inundate you guys with member apps. I figured you could just deny it and read my message. ANYWAYS, my apologies guys.

You know what- I almost forgot all about that. I was looking for my web cam (I don’t normally use one) and when I found it I realized how old the thing really was lol. Its about 8 years old, and I don’t have the software for it. Its also the only webcam I couldn’t download the software for. So i need a new camera and I’m a poor man atm I really would do one in a second if I could. Maybe this weekend I’ll dig a bit further for the software and if I can find it I’ll totally do one. OR if anyone reads this and just so happens to have the software for this webcam lemme know… Logitech V-UAP9 I dunno if any other software is compatible, but I didn’t want to just dl lots of dl’s only to find that they don’t work…

Guys, we are trying to get this sorted but it is not proving easy. Although Alex is no longer the owner he is helping me to try and find a solution. Snuffhouse will be mended as soon as we can, simple as that. No one need apologise for anything; this is just one of those things. Some of the emails I’ve had you’d think the world was ending and I’ve personally had a hand in it, jeez!

I am on a new computer now and wasn t able to logging until yesterday. Today it worked, guess the problem is fixed now !

Well, I wouldn’t say I’m at a lose without snuffhouse, but it’s certainly a disruption to my habits on the rare times it goes down. Usually the first website that I check when I get up, refresh periodically throughout the day, and one last time before I go to bed. So when it’s down, I’ve got a bit of time to fill. Plus there’s no good alternative agreed upon to head to so that we can see what’s up. I mean, I’ve got some of you folks on facebook, but I’d feel a bit weird shooting someone a message at 2AM going “OMG, snuffhouse is down! Man the lifeboats!”

Thankfully it seems the problem has now been solved; for which I give massive thanks to Alex.

Me, I’m sitting in darkest Africa and…I’ve had no problems with the site?? Almost to good to be true !!

@shikitohno I know what you mean- I didn’t want to annoy anyone but what does one do if they are having problems? I think we should atleast open an email account for these types of problems…

Chances are good myself and possibly rdunnion, bish777 or Filek might be in the ##snuff channel. If you really need to talk about snuff or pose a question and the site goes down again, someone will be in there.

didn’t know if anyone experienced this today … but i was unable to login for a while … about 45 minutes. just got back in also … i have to sign in each time i open the site when opening my browser … in the past it would keep me signed in … is this new?

New problem. I was trying to create a new discussion, and for whatever reason, it kept taking me to an error page saying “You do not have permission to do that.” Anyone else?

This has happened to me, but it is now clear. I’m guessing that it will clear up for everyone eventually.

Auto login is working fine from here.

As of now please flag tec problems up on the tec thread, ill collate for a week or so and then take it to the web designer. sorry for the inconveience - your patience is much appreciated.
