Just poking around the old posts and saw this. I saw them in England in 1980, with the old and best line up of Lemmy, Philthy and the one and only Fast Eddie - who I’ve modelled my guitar playing on ever since. I saw the latest line up in Dublin and Sheffield last year and Lemmy was pretty near indistiguishable from 30 years ago. He is one of those very lucky human beings who have that ‘extra’ gene that allows cigarettes and neat bourbon to be recognised by the body as food. One of the best bands to stalk the murky underworld of true rock.
