OT: favourite professional sports teams

i am a sports fan and have been although not a sports fanatic. i do not keep up with all the trades or injuries but enjoy watching . i was just wonder what teams people on snuffhouse liked for me Premier league i like Arsenal Nationally i love the Netherlands and Argentina. I also love Iceland(where I’m from) but we are not good enough to compete i also like watching F.C Barcelona play if were talking NFL football i like the Minnesota vikings for obvious reasons NHL i love the Montreal Canadians MLB i like the Phillies and the Jays NBA i don’t really watch very much basketball but if i were to choose i like the celtics or the bulls cheers

I’m a Green Bay Packers fan. So BOOO Vikings. Cleveland Indians. Yeah I have a thing for losers. Outside of that I’m a huge NASCAR fan.

I’m not a big sports fan but I will go out of my way to try and catch a Redskins game. They’re not usually on “regular” TV down here so it’s always a good excuse to go to a local bar or friends house with satellite. I have to place a small wager though, to make it interesting.

RED SOX! New England Patriots too.

NFL: New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers NBA: Orlando Magic MLB: Don’t watch it much, but Red Sox when I do NCAA Basketball: North Carolina Tar Heels, The Ohio State University NCAA Football: The Ohio State University Golf: Phil Mickelson NASCAR: Stopped watching it years ago NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets I think that’s about it!

simple: football (thats soccer for you guys across the pond) 1.FC Köln. Mabey theyll make it into some international competition someday, but till then Im glad if they arent relegated. Countrywise its Germany for me. Dont really watch many other sports…

Sadly Goldenboy, unless you pay for a channel, soccer (football) is hadly shown on TV over here. Unless it’s the Confederation Cup or World Cup I really don’t get to watch much. I think it is on a rise in popularity, so maybe one day it will be really mainstream.

well its the same here, but for different reasons, as its so popular the rights have been bought, so you have to pay to see the league games live. Its diffrent with national games though, they are usually broadcasted on the normal TV stations.

Is there even enough flat land in Switzerland for soccer? Mostly mountain sports, I would think.

The only sport I really follow anymore is the NFL, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are my favorite team.

I got digital cable just so I could add the Fox Soccer channel and get all the English Premier league games. I admit that until the 2006 world cup, I had never watched a full football game. But, a girlfriend I had at the time got me hooked. Ironically, she’s gone, but my love for soccer persisted.

lol there is enugh place to play crapy football, but Im a German living in Switzerland. And yes mountain sport is big here, I dont dig it though. That girl did you a favor snuffegnugen

NBA - Lakers MLB - Dodgers NFL - St. Louis Rams NHL - San Jose Sharks UFC/WEC - Randy Couture, Urijah Faber Billiards - Efren Reyes, Mike Sigel

i love watching ufc. i don’t have any favorites but when the card is shown i pick someone to root for

Team 3-D

I support Sheffield FC, the oldest football club in the world. We were founded in 1857. We play in the Unibond League Division One South basically the 8th league. We never turned professional so that is why we aren’t champions of the universe lol. We played in the FA Cup Preliminary Round today and beat Flixton of the North West Counties League 4-0, excellent performance by the lads. Cricket wise my county is Derbyshire. I also follow Rugby Union but only internationally as there are no local teams. My international team in football, cricket and rugby is England. Don’t really follow any other sports. Stefan
