Since this forum is about enjoying some of the finer things in life, how 'bout some good old fashioned nature? View from my front porch… taken from my phone so the sunset colors are a little off… Who else lives in the midst of some beautiful geography?

T

Beautiful geography is the biggest draw the upper peninsula of Michigan has. More trees than people, a lot of rock formations, and 4 seasons to give a fresh perspective on it all.

Wow, that looks incredibly green! I’ve got two seaons - cold and hot. Half mountain/half desert, we’re green for about 2-3 months during the summer when it rains like nobody’s business.

This is a spooky fog that got into my backyard one early morning a few winters ago.

@Xander, That’s awesome! Looks like a scene right out of a horror movie.

Something nasty on the news tonight about that Nuke plant. Only heard a blurb, but something about radiation leaking. I hope the wind is not blowing from the northwest tonight.

@Xander the fall out is on my wind shield every morning. They claimed before they built it ,that electric was going to be so cheap we wouldn’t need meters. More lies. Now the automatic read meters constantly radiate an electrical field. Put to risk the entire population to save from paying a couple of meter reader men or woman. Go figure! I am not worried I have my snuff and pipe to enjoy while the skin melts from my bones. I did have a view of the stack and of great sunsets before the retirement community was built.
