OT-A new member of the Family

Meet Nicholas, Maine Coon Cat mix. Survivor of the Joplin MO tornado. Got him from a local animal shelter. He is 4-5 months old. edm

Glad you found each other. What a tail!

That looks like a wicked cat!

Congratulations on your new addition!

congratulations

Congrats on the new member of your family.

Congratulations, he’s a dish!

I want to play with your new room mate!

Awww he’s beautiful. Stefan

Great cat!! I’ve always wanted a Maine Coon, as a 198cm tall guy I appreciate large animals…I’m less likely to trip over a Maine Coon or Irish Wolfhound!

looks like you found a very nice looking companion.

Well Nicholas had to go to the Vet today. He has ear mites and a cold. Must have caught it/them at the shelter. Also was told to fatten him up because he is slightly underwieght for a Maine Coon. Vet said he was closer to 6 months old. Got antibioties and had his ears cleaned out good and drops for his ears. Oh fun just love to try to give medicine to a cat, lol. edm

Hope he heals up nicely. Adorable!

new picture.

my wife works at a animal hospital and forbids pets in our home… “walking bills” she calls them. I’m jealous!

I envy you. Pets aren’t allowed in the building where I live now, and I miss my old cat, who passed on in August 2010. Ah, well, I ordered a 2012 wall calendar with kitten photos, so at least I’ll have some cute cats to look at.

Here’s Nick and Scamper

You have met Nick, Scamper is a kitten of a stary that has adopted us. They are both about the same age. Nick is fixed. Scamper is a female and she will get fixed when Business picks up at work.

wow, looks almost just like my cat. Doesn’t happen to be a persian mix does he? Careful with maine coons though if you don’t have experience with them, they can develop quite a temper. I haven’t met one yet that I wouldn’t swear is bi-polar.

Hey now…
