My teak Tripletech - which I already greatly adore - arrived in the mail today, and I’m looking to swap out the bone spoon for a metal one. My question is, does anyone know of a good source for spoons that will fit in the spoon compartment? I already have a Czech pipe tool, but I’d like something a tad smaller. Any suggestions?
Don’t have one myself, but I hear salt spoons are about right, maybe try an auction site. I belive you can get little silver spoons too, but other members will be able to give you more info about that.
A salt spoon would be way too large. If it were me, I would buy one of the metal spoons from Mr. Snuff or Snuffstore that have a blade on the other end, and then snip the handle with a bolt cutter or pruning shears to the right length.
I have been in the market for a proper silver snuff spoon for a while. A good friend of mine is a jeweler. I would like to attach both a silver snuff spoon and silver mounted rabbits foot to my snuff mull for usage and brushing. I have not found what I have been looking for.
SnuffinClown … i have many of the silver spoons you can get from mrsnuff or snuffgear … they are a little long for the PC TT boxes, so take some tin snips to the flat end and cut them down a little and they fit fine.
@snuffbrant the flat end (chopper) is the only worthwhile end on those spoons. Those are in fact coke spoons, which is why the bowl is so tiny. Generally pretty useless for snuff. I spent months on ebay measuring all the silver spoons on offer. It takes a lot of patientce to get one that is the correct size.
@xander … did you find one that works? I do find the bowl tiny … but i just heap it full then place it on the back of the hand … or spoon twice into one pinch … and i do find the flat part useful … and when i have used the tin snips i leave a bit of the flat portion, so all is not lost … 
people say salt spoon is too big I say it’s just right.
I obtained a snuff spoon big enough for my clumsy fingers today. It’s handcarved from red cedar, about 4.25 inches long. I tried to post a link to the pic from eBay, but it’s not working. *sigh*

I have a spoon that fits PERFECTLY- I’m talking PERFECT. It fits like it was made to go with my Triple tech. i got it from Dave Larsen. His name on here is @davelarsen but I haven’t seen him around here lately. He made it for me for like 8 bucks. It’s brass I believe. PERFECT little thing I use it every day! Maybe message him on here and he’s a nice guy, I’m sure he’ll respond!
I got one of those @ddavelarsen spoons and they are great.
I have made several using dried rose branches of the right size and cutting tip at a slanted angle. and hollowing out the inside pith to allow for a spoonlike area. Crude, but they work fine
Hey Rob, I’m still snuffin around, just don’t have anything much to say. I’m the strong, silent type. 
I haven’t made any snuff spoons for a long time; I seem to have enough to satisfy all my needs. My tripletech gets a workout too! I spent all day yesterday snuffing McC Clove out of it; mmmm. I’d love to see pics of other’s snuff spoons too. Please do share the wealth!
I am in the process of attempting to carve a spoon out of soapstone. I’m unemployed and have the materials on hand… A few years ago I had carved a large chunk of soapstone into an abstract shape but never liked how it turned out so I am finally doing something with the rock! We’ll see how it goes…if well, I will surely post a pic.

@SnuffHead Is that snuff on your keyboard? If it is you should clean it because if it gets even deeper you will have a big problem with how the computer performs.
@ ddavelarson.Yes the spoon was made to fit the box. It’s the second one he’s presented me with. gbk, LOL snuff gets everywhere. I did try sticking the laptop in a large polythene bag, but it hindered my typing. I’m content to take it to bits every now and again.
