Just thought I would post a list of all the Old Mill snuffs that I have tried, along with my personal ratings on a scale from 1 to 5. As you can see there are no losers here, and that is an amazing statement to make, when one thinks about it. The Old Mill snuffs are all good but some are extraordinary to be sure and are in the highest tier of quality that it is possible for snuff to achieve, imho. Daniel’s skill as a professional chef brightly shines in his snuff creations. Daniel has reached the pinnacle of snuff making, right there with Nigel of Abraxas and Johnny of Sir Walter Scott. That’s just my opinion of course, but there it is for what it’s worth. And I should add that Toque and Dholakia are not far behind, in my view at least. As for the ratings, they are just my preferences. Please remember that I do not like menthol or an excess of minty scents (although mint can be quite good in very small amounts) and this affects my ratings. I cannot make any claim that my ratings are superior to those of anyone else, they are just relevant to what I like personally. I don’t know if this list and the ratings will be of use to you but here it is and I invite your comments, disagreements, agreements, criticisms and what not. How do you order from Old Mill Snuff? I’ve been to the website but I don’t see a way to order and I can’t find them on Mr. Snuff.

I appreciate your effort but this does not help me to zero in on anything as they are mostly 4.5 or better. If I only I could just buy them all. Seriously though, when I do finally get around to another order chef is gonna get my $$.
@OleFactoryHugh that’s easy. If they are mostly 4.5 or better, then try the 5’s. But like I said there are no losers in Daniel’s list of snuffs and your experience will vary as always. Daniel is just flat-out great at making snuff. What can I say? But that list is all just my opinion anyway. I hope that one day you have your own re Daniel’s snuffs. Let us know…

I’m still a novice but I was happy to see we agreed on Edible Arrangements and Noisette- 5. I disagree on Dreamcatcher. I give it a 5. I’ve been taking that snuff daily since it’s inception…guessing it’s been around 6 months >, and it only gets better and better. And I enjoyed it very much in the beginning. Dreamcatcher continues to be my favorite snuff. Too many others I feel I don’t know well enough to rate yet except for Premiere; also a 5 in my book. It looks like I’ve at least tasted 16 of Old Mill snuffs! Thanks to Daniel’s generosity with samples. @fredh the samples are a huge help in narrowing down the list. ::thumbs up::
@Valiant, thanks for your comments. I can easily see why you rated Dreamcatcher and Premiere at 5 each. They are great snuffs, no doubt about it.
I would personally upgrade Olde English Toast from a 4.5 to a 5. There is nothing else out there like it.
I wish someone could hook me up with some of Chef Daniels Dreamcatcher snuff and also the Edible Arrangements,Noisette,and Premiere.I would gladly appreciate it.I’ve tried almost all but 8 of dem.Can I please have a sample please @fredh I’m from Hawaii and I can hook u up with stuff from Islands like Kona Coffee,macadamia nuts etc… just lmk.I hope u can come through. Hey @Hawaiian_Ryan I am in the midst of moving and almost all of my snuffs have been in boxes for months, including the ones you wanted. It’s a long story I will not bore you with but that is the truth of it. So sorry, but even I do not know where those snuffs are at this moment. :-S
