Figured this snuff needed a review since I didn’t see any? and its too good. Been my all day snuff. The scent smells like putting your head in a jar of great quality pipe tobacco. Pipe tobacco has always been a favorite scent of mine. Maybe the good chef could cap off his humidor cigar selection and do a pipe tobacco selection. Anyways, it is dark gray almost black color. Its rich, with a very long lasting scent. Fine silky smooth grind, easy to take. Very smoky. Great snuff. One of my favorites.
@captshipwreck I couldn’t agree more. I love the scent of this snuff. When I don’t have time for a pipe this snuff is perfect. And it smells like the most top shelf English you can buy!
I really enjoy it as well. Its a little too rich to be my all-day snuff. For me, its a treat. After a day of snuffing less robust snuffs, I’ll take a couple of spoonfuls of Old Mill Old English Toast and just let it do its thing for the next 20 minutes. His snuff-making method on this one creates such a powerful concentrated flavor/scent, that its pretty amazing.

I love this snuff. I’m not very tobacco savvy; I either like a snuff or I don’t. This one has a unique blend of tobaccos that has a pungent, musty, smokey scent unlike other toasts I’ve had - and it sticks around a while! I had to google all of these different types of tobaccos… a lot going on with this one. This is my new favorite snuff to take while reading and doing homework,
this snuff is crazy. I liked the 2014 Vintage as well, but this 2015 is a bit different, and darker-toned.
I suggest getting a lined jar of it and aging. Ive done this with both 2014 / 2015 versions and it seems to be mellowing in a very interesting way…
If you like smoky, this has an amazing leathery smoke that is very different than the typical American Scotches. Not campfire, definitely pipe-tobacco like>>>
People better place your orders from Chef Daniel.it’s one of his "endangered species"list now so once it’s gone it’s gone. I was fortunate enough to get some before it’s all gone.
This is my favorite Old Mill snuff. I don’t use it often because it’s so rich in flavor, but that said, it is a very good snuff. Mine is from 2015, and I’m making it last a long time.
