(Not quite a review) I’ve recently placed an order for Old English Toast, Conundrum, and (not Old Mills)Swisher Starr from @chefdaniel. Shortly after receiving that package, I placed another order for Butternut Toast, Acadia, a taste of Evangeline, and a full order of Pure Virginia Toast. The shipping was fast, and I was delighted to find a taster of the Pure Virginia Toast. Sometimes I worry that the flavors in snuff will be a little to intense for my liking (has happened a couple times ordering online.) The Chef is a master at subtly flavoring his tobacco, and really lets the natural flavor shine through. The quality of these snuffs out of this world, and @chefdaniel is the nicest guy you could hope to do business with. I will continue to place orders from @MrSnuff for stuff like Abraxas, F&T HDT, and some Sir Walter Scott’s. For as long as I can, I think I will stick to Old Mills as my daily snuff.
If there is any left, you really should try Premiere as well–my personal favorite. Though they all have their merits.
@nmsnuffer, This is how I feel. All the Old Mill snuffs I’ve tried are equally magnificent and each one is so very unique that I’d be happy to only have Old Mill snuffs on hand. Since I’m new to snuff I will have to try some of the others-Molens Gingerbread still comes to mind, but I’m just thrilled Old Mill snuffs even exists.
I don’t know how to edit a post but I agree that these are not “in your face” flavors. They aren’t exactly subtle either, to me, except perhaps Dream Catcher. That one is as smooth as silk in flavor and to take. There’s only a little burn to let you know it’s there, and the flavor sits quietly (but not too quietly) for a really long time in the background.
My search engine knowledge isn’t that good. Is there a list of everything available somewhere? I’ve decided to make my next order a sampler of Old Mill.
To me @chefdaniel puts flavors “in” his tobacco creations not "on"them, they are indeed special … Been taking Olde English toast, about to relax with butternut toast… Looking forward to my next order, then I need a top up with a few again …

@johnus, Oh good! Please let me/us know how you like them. I want to place another order and I’m looking for reviews and or opinions. I’m certain I’m now spoiled by Old Mill. Oh, such problems to have.

I am very envious of you all lol! I have tried to reach out via message here on snuffhouse as well as via email from the website feature and so far, no response from chef Daniel. This was a week ago now. I hope all is well with you good sir and I understand you are a busy man so please don’t take this is as an insult, just wondering if I am doing something wrong.
Old Mill will suspend operations until about 15 October due to family health concerns. I will update soonest.
