Didn’t think it would or could happen but I am finally starting to enjoy some fine dry snuff. Six Photo Natural is beautiful. White Elephant a bit of a struggle. F &T High Dry Toast, not bad. Viking Blond is nice, not quite as fine ground but very good snuff. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always be a Red Taxi and Samuel Gawith Black Rappee sort of guy but it is great to have some new things to throw into the mix. Sorry also to those of you I thought nuts for liking fine dry snuff.

Congrats. I just reached this point yesterday myself. I’m always going to like my SG/Viking collection but I can enjoy cheeta now, and I guess I’ll throw some WE and IHT22 on my next order.

I go through phases where I only use coarse snuffs, like SG Black Rappee, KB, etc, then move into White Elephant, HDT, and the like. I don’t know if its my nose, or the season, or exactly what. But I’ve snuffed for many years and thats how it rolls for me. Same with menthols and florals, sometimes I am really into them, and only use those types, then I get back to plain snuffs. I’ve had a big tin of F&T HDT for about a year now and only use it very rarely. I love the scent, but but not the dryness. Its cyclical, or so it seems.

Snuff is funny stuff. Lately, since I wrote the above post some time back, I’ve had great difficulty taking any snuff at all! Been better the last two days.
