I don’t know if you have heard but over on snuson.com Roderick responded to a request to develop a plain (unflavored) Irish Toast by saying that they have one in the works and that it should be ready in a couple of months!!! I’ve never been to a snuff mill, so I don’t know if they have quality control tasters like the scotch whisky or wine folk claim to have. However, I think that some of the companies should take an interest in the snuff house forum. I’ve learned so much in the short time I have been on. And, considering the knowledge base here; I think we would make excellent guinea pigs for snuff development and marketing. Of course, I would certainly welcome the free snuff, but I think we would be providing them a service as well.

Yeah, I saw the carnage on CNN. It was pretty traumatic. Of course, several of the chimps died after the rampage. They were already suffering from Heroin withdrawals because they were part of a government sanctioned addiction study before they broke out, and since the noses they bit off were completely full of toque; the nicotine was the straw that broke the camels back. So, as sad as the story is, the chimps are no longer a threat, and we’re all here to replace the fallen toquesters. RIP

Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends: “Lets all Toque to Freedom”. My platform for appointment as a snuff reviewer: 1.) I will be honest, if it tastes like crap I will say so. If its wonderful as is, I will shout it from the mountain tops 2.) I will not take bribes, or money from other snuff producers to bash your product. 3.) I will give every sample the attention that is required to properly evaluate its palatability 4.) I will buy a thesaurus so that I have a myriad of adjectives to use in my analysis. Paid for by the commission to designated snuffegnugen an official Toque Taster. Roderick, Have you given any thought to producing a coarsely ground, moist, dark snuff? Maybe, along the lines of a Kendal Brown? I don’t know about anyone else, but I would be very interested in such a product.
