Just made a trip to Downsouth in Wimbledon to see if they had any NTSU. They have closed down and sold all their stock to a newsagent. He has tonnes of NTSU that he doesn’t know what to do with. Ive just bought 20 pots for 20 quid. Get em while they’re still there! 89 Broadway, Wimbledon, Junction Box post office.
Be there in a min! Oh wait- I’m in USA…
Not quite a giveaway since I think they were only being sold for .99p when the other store was open.
He’s saved 20p, enough for a mars bar. In 1983.
Oh so smug naysayers, the only other place you can buy it in the UK unless i’m mistaken is Mr Snuff for £2. 40 a tin and it’s always out of stock and cstokes4, the other store isn’t open anymore so those 99p days are gone, just like the 20p Mars bar.
The onlne shop appears to still be open. Ntsu is still 99p there. http://www.downsouthgroup.com/catalog.aspx?cid=1773
It shut down 2 months ago. Try and buy something or call them and see what happens. I was only trying to give London based NTSU fans the heads up. Nothing more.
@tomhirvin: No need to be defensive, no one is saying you did anything wrong. We’re just adding in what we know or knew already about this topic for the sake of discussion and completeness. We’re all quite jovial about it. See: ;-D There are two other South African import shops in the UK that carry (or did carry) Ntsu: http://www.buysouthafricaonline.co.uk/epages/Store2\_Shop1763.sf/en\_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store2.Shop1763/Categories/NonFoods/“Special%20Imports” http://www.biltong2u.co.uk/shop3.htm The second one appears not to have it listed any longer, but they do have contact information as well as the possibilty that its still available in their walk-in location.
:o) For the record Xander, your reviews have guided me better than anyone’s as to what to try and buy, including NTSU which I very much appreciate. Have to say though… not very conducive to a good night’s sleep. Night night.
Nice to hear I’ve been helpful. Cheers!
@tomhirvin - only kidding mate:)
To hand someone money, and immediatly recieve snuff(no waiting for the mail) is a thrill in its self. Especially some thing as good as NTSU. I occasionally buy a can of Red Seal just to get the fix… i have many cans of Red Seal.
Haha, same here Pot Poe.
I’ve got through nearly 3 tubs already and have hardly eaten anything either. The world also now smells of ammonia. Love it!
@tomhirvin. Thanks. Great news. Used to grab the tube and go there regularly to load up with Ntsu (black tub) allways nice and fresh, damp and reeking with ammonia. Not prepared to be robbed by MrSnuff and the only other place is buysouthafricaonline.co.uk. Ordered 6 tubs fom them (think it was about 1.25GBP per tub) and they charged me 5.00 GBP for 2nd class postage across London. It took a week to arrive and it wasnt that fresh. Wont do that again ! Going to pop over to Wimbledon P.O in the next day or so, but before I go perhaps you would be kind enough to tell me what condition it was in. Should be damp and reeking of ammonia. Cheers
