Strong ammonia scent before airing out, like a freshly scooped horse stall. After airing out the ammonia is still present but not overpowering. My impression of the scent is that it most resembles a pine scented floor cleaning product. The ammonia backdrop coupled with a slightly citrusy base tobacco almost made me wonder if it had in fact been scented, but I am told it’s natural. The “grind” is more of a “chop”… It is finely chopped tobacco. Sniffing Ntsu is comparable to using dipping snuff, Only placement and method of spitting differ. By this I mean you might need a spittoon to relieve yourself of the nasal drip. The nicotine hits hard and keeps beating on you till you blow out that drip. Just like spitting out a dip. I have been off cigarettes for almost a week now thanks to this stuff. It’s the only high nic snuff I can take and get any use out of… It’s easier to take than any medium grind german snuff, and delivers the goods like a white indian. Try it if you want a good nic replacement… But be sure and keep around something nice and low In Nic to take between clumps, it’s not for pleasure.
For sure, can be a messy nic hit.
threw mine away. I’ve had similar grinds that I like but this stuff was just plain nasty to me. I can get my nic hits from toasts and Toque Quit.
Just goes to show how subjective snuff is. A South African acquaintance of mine brought me four tubs of this back from there last year that he got for me whilst out visiting family. The freshest snuff I’ve ever got my hands on - needed airing for several hours but stayed moist and was simply beautiful. Can’t wait for more.
