I think if you click on your username… edit profile… edit preferences… I THINK you need to uncheck “notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions” Try that, let me know…

what Mark says sounds right. Make sure the thread is not bookmarked. Notifications from that thread would make anyone batty. Its the most posted thread, 40+ posts a day, I think. Also you can customize your settings not to get email notifications. The notifications will only show up on your profile page, and as pop ups here when you are logged in.

Yes, thank you both, I’m sure you’re right. I only use the mobile version and I’ve got no idea how it happened but I’ve turned the notifications off now. Thanks again, I was getting a bit frustrated.
