I’m mainly an SP and toast/scotch kind of guy but I do have a lot of variation in my rotation. I love my Royal George and Spanish Gem for bedtime dessert snuffs along with F&T (albeit not as much as I used to) but sometimes I need a simpler sugary treat in my nose like toque’s chocolate with their peanut butter or gawith apricot and gawith cola, or my favorite (although not too simple) nose candy, SG Richt Kind (can’t wait to get a big old’ vac tin), and to me St. Clements is great as something between nose candy and SP. What kind of candy-like snuffs or mixes are you into, if any?
Swisher Honey Bee. That’s a very sweet snuff. It’s claimed there is actual honey in this snuff. It has a very sweet honey aroma that lasts a while. I don’t have this one often but it satisfies the sweet craving immediately.
Molens Chococreme or Swisher Society.
I wonder if anyone saw the title of the discussion and thought I was talking about sniffing pixie sticks or crushed up jolly ranchers. Hang on… That gives me an idea!
I used to sniff pixie stix in middle school…yes, I used to be that one weird kid.
Dude I did that too! Until I got a bloody nose.
Banana bomb!
For straight up nose candy sniffing - when not doing lines of orange pixie stix - I’ll hit the Silver Dollar Cherry
I just tried WoS peach melba and I can already tell its gonna be one of my go-to nose candy snuffs.
I have a lot of sweet snuffs.
Good ones are SG honey, Toque vanilla, Toque toffee, Molens gingerbread, Swisher honey bee, WoS royal george, WoS strawberry, Toque toffee, SG toffee, SG strawberry, SG Cola, Molens chococreme, Dhalokia blast brandy maple, McC lemon, WoS Vanilla.
@theatre Nice! I have tried a fair amount of those but I still need to try toffee and honey bee for sure.
toffee is great. Royal George is a long standing favorite. Dholakia swiss chocolate is the most candy snuff I think I’ve ever had. Don’t like it but sometimes keep a tin around because ladies love it.
I haven’t tried swiss chocolate but I’ve been meaning to. I have 25g tins of Toque’s chocolate and WoS chocolate orange in the bedtime snuff drawer right now. That makes sense that ladies would love Swiss chocolate since ladies love chocolate.
For me swiss chocolate is pretty bad. I’ve heard a lot of people like it though. I don’t like Dhalokia’s base tobacco, it’s very old and musty imo, the flavours just make it worthwhile. I think Toque’s chocolate is a better rich chocolate flavour.
And for people that like chocolate bars Molens chococreme is the closest to that and my favourite chocolate snuff as I prefer it over organic/rich/dark chocolate.
How could we all forget liquorice flavored snuffs? I’ve got toque absinthe in my nose right now. Sometimes nothing but black liquorice flavor will do. I love having enough snuff where I can either pick one at random or know what I want and have it. I won’t be buying in bulk until this phase of ridiculous variety is over.
The crazy variety phase can last many years, embrace it- my opinion…
@Mr. O thanks for the two cents. I was right about to start a new thread about that.
If nothing else it takes a long time to have tried out enough different ones to really find one’s favorites it seems- at least that was the case for me, and I’m still exploring a lot to find more of mine… To me it’s an enjoyable process… same deal with pipe tobaccos etc. I say
For the sweet stuff De Kralingse Choco and Gingerbread are superb. I initially had doubts about the Gingerbread but now the only thing I worry about is if it will keep its flavor over time. Excellent stuff.
To play with candys of childhood, there is for example Pösch Gawith Cola like the famous candys coca ,or,S.Gawith Apricot like interior of lemon-drops capsules,Plum is good too
