No tracking info on royal mail.com

Made an order with mrsnuff on the 6th of March and used the airsure shipping method. I received an email saying that it shipped monday the 7th, but when I try to track it from the royalmail.com track and trace tool i get this message “There is no data currently available for this tracking reference. Please try again later.” Can you track parcels from UK to the USA?. I understand that this is certainly not Mrsnuffs fault, and I also understand that the order will take awhile to reach me in the usa and im not trying to be impaitent, I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks (could not find another discussion on the topic)

@earthbound89 I’ve gotten so many wonky messages from Royal Mail…so what your experiencing is completely normal. Usually the best I get is a message Saying “your Package has been passed on to overseas shipping for delivery in the United States” It normally says this until it arrives at my house. It’s definitely not the same as UPS tracking, that’s for sure. I have on occasion recieved my package, and the site will still be saying there is no data available. It’s certainly not an exact science with those guys…so don’t worry, I’m sure your package is safely well on its way. Hope this helps! =)

Yeah, the orders I’ve placed with Mrsnuff using Royal Mail say the same thing Fisch said. Once the package arrives in the USA, Royal Mail cannot track it. It usually takes a little over 1 week to arrive to me in northern New York state. I’m curious as to where exactly it arrives when it enters the USA, if you knew that, then you’d have a better idea of how long it will take to truck it to your door…

Don’t worry, I was in your predicament the other day. It took EXACTLY ONE WEEK to reach my house. I live in TN, USA. I was all worried but sure enough, it got to me. I’ve heard on average its about 7-10 days.

royal mail cant track the parcel once its left the uk as it is no longer theirs to track.

7 - 10 days is about what it takes to get stuff from Mr Snuff to Iowa. I haven’t had any weird delays, really. Couple weeks once around Christmas time. I know it’s unsettling not to be able to track it once it lands in the US postal service’s hands. Feels like your order is in limbo. I haven’t had the “no data” message though. Like Fischy said, you’ll probably get your package before Royal Mail gets its arms around the idea.

yeap 7-10 days, to Warrensburg MO. I don’t waste the money on airsure, after the 1st time and I couldn’t track it into the US. edm

When my packages got to Canada, I had to use the local postage system to locate/track mine. Maybe you can do the same…?

Canadians always have all the answers…damn them!! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Nice to see ya around again Mike!

LOL definitely not always :stuck_out_tongue: . Thank Mr.Tix, I’ve just been sick with the flu or something… Whatever it is, it’s a pain in the ass. Feeling better though! Hoping to do a video review next week :stuck_out_tongue: .

Yea I had a feeling it wasn’t a big deal, since this is my first experience with royal mail I was unsure of what to expect. Thanks for all the help guys, -zach

I must say for all their faults Royal Mail are pretty decent. For example I order a lot of stuff from amazon.co.uk, and pay for their “Prime” service which means you can have next day delivery with City Link, a private courier. Since December I’ve had 2 damaged packages with City Link, and WoS used them to ship an order I placed with them before Xmas , and it took 12 days to come 18 miles from Sharrow mills. When either Amazon or WoS have used Royal Mail it arrives in good order and usually the next day or two at the most. So while they have their faults they are no way near as bad as City Link, or other private couriers. Stefan
