So my Toque finally came today. Left my work cell at home, so had to ride my motorcycle back in 20 degree weather to pick it up. but when i was at my corner, i could see the white envelope sticking out of my mailbox. Sage was VERY happy. So I grabbed it, rushed back to work and made some calls, and then opened the Toffee up, took a sniff, and just went for it. And OMG, did it make my head hurt like a mother*****r. So I went on to snuson, and asked some questions about it (too embarrassed to come here, snuson is my home and enough folks use snuff there, I didn’t mind embarrassing myself there as much. Fortunately, a few folks suggested that i was taking in too much. One person (TBD) gave me a visual to key off, he said I should take no more than an apple seed’s worth. That was a huge help. Did that, no pain in my head. I am loving it. I suspect it will take weeks for me to truly be able to really focus and notice flavors. right now, it’s all a bit overwhelming. I am really happy with the nicotine kick, it is just what I was looking for. But I find, even with using snus, about every 20 minutes, i seem to want more. So have been using it like that for the last 4 hours. I am really pleased though. i am sop grateful i finally decided to try it, that y’all are here so i can keep learning more. I expect that snuff will become as important to me as my snus is.

LOL Roderick, don’t think I could ever not want snus. After 2 years, that habit is as burned in as my 30 year cigarette habit was. But snuff does give me that added punch I seem to have been craving. I expect they really will work well together.

I love the combination of snus and snuff. The snus has a nice even flow of nicotine and the snuff gives you the nice boost.
Welcome to snuff! A great way of getting vitiamin N. I would say just experiment with the massive variety out there and dont be afraid to ask questions, however silly they may seem - we have all been there and I would like to think this is one of the places where you can ask without any fear of ridicule. In terms of how much to pinch, I am with Roderick - a pea sixed pinch. Its a bit of a paradox but bigger pinches do seem to irritate least. Though sagedil I hate to tell you the virgin classification for snuffers is more like olvie oil. This means you are now a virgin not an extra virgin. OF course this time tommorow you won’t be a snuff virgin anymore. I just find the idea of extra Virgin being applied more to more then oil. Imagine high school kids being excited to become just a virgin instead of an extra virgin.

So…just to follow up. I posted this on snuson too… So I wanted to update after using snuff for about 3 days now. First, I am so in love!! I absolutely love it. I have gotten comfortable with measuring doses, etc. What I have discovered is the true joy that nicotine can be. I feel like I can finally fine tune my nicotine dose at any moment when I want to. I was just watching videos Friday evening on my laptop, laying down, chilling, smoking some bud. And I was hitting the snuff pretty hard, and I swear the nicotine affect was almost recreational. It was literally making me feel kinda high, a bit like when I used to do crystal meth back in the late 80’s. It was so cool. Snuff really does give me that fine control I have always dreamed of!! So Friday, I found myself hitting it almost like a junkie. It was a bit concerning, as nicotine can certainly have a very powerful draw on me, i.e. my 2 pack a day, 20 year smoking habit. Finally, I popped a strong snus in, and that helped break the hold the snuff had on me. Did much less snuff yesterday, as I was curious what it would be like if I was less frequent with it, and never found myself too drawn to it. I suspect tonight will be another high snuff night. I know I really need a few weeks before I can truly taste what I am using. So far, I have just tried the toffee and the Whiskey-Honey. I like both of them, but way too new to this to comment. As I do more exploring over the next few months, I will learn what I love. But I have liked what I have done so far. When I take the Whiskey-Honey, it’s a little weird. The smell reminds me of something ancient, a smell from my childhood I can’t place yet. But this whole aspect of it has me falling hard for the entire concept. OK, so one problem with snuff I have already found. God, I make an utter mess on myself. Even when am paying attention, I spill a bit everywhere, and sometimes, I have spilled a bunch on myself. Whatever I am wearing will soon be covered with the leftovers of what I have spilled on myself and little brown spots everywhere. And my face?? LOL, I look like Pigpen sometimes. And I know now why Nicotinerush sells hankies. I am sneezing with some occasion, and I better have something to catch the brown nastiness that comes shooting out. So due to the mess issue, I have decided I am just a bullet kinda guy!! I have heard some say the bullet dose isn’t big enough. No problem!! I will just keep hitting it until I have the dose I want. I LIKE that kind of fine control. And it looks like a bullet will give me clean, complete control and will allow me to use in public with more confidence. So I decided to order form Nicotinerush now. I ordered an acrylic 2 piece red bullet. Since I was getting that, I figured I might as well branch out and get a few from some of the other snuff houses. so…this is what I ordered. F.U.B.A.R. - Grunt Snuff 10g Rooster Scotch Snuff 1.15 oz Dholakia Swiss Chocolate 1 x McChrystals O & G 8.75g McChrystals Original 8.75g McChrystals S’nuff Poschl Ozona Cherry 5 grams So got some McChrystals, Dholakia, Poschl. What excites me even more is I am getting German, Indian, and American snuff too, In some ways, snus is a bit boring as it is really just a Swedish thing. Snuff is so much bigger!! I also ordered a couple of smash boxes as the 25g tins are larger than I prefer to carry around.
bullets are nice. Even if you just dump it on the back of my hand I like the portion control and that it makes a neat pile. The bullet is great too for convience. You can use it when it is windy.
