Hey guys, just wondering what do you experience in your nicotine hit? I get lightheadedness and some kind of euphoria
yep
I donāt really feel much with nicotine (unless itās too much) but satisfaction.
My snuffing has been lax lately. Iāve been pretty much stuck on SG SP, Toque Orig & Nat, and HDT. Yesterday I had Old Paris wicked hard and was almost dizzy from the nicā¦I did have a snus in on two occasions tooā¦that prolly had a lot to do with it. Normally, I donāt feel the nic from snuff. My nose canāt take the amount needed to get a buzz anymore. The blood flowing under my scalp seems to still heat up though.
Not much of a hit as such here either. I do experience a certain buzz sometimes, maybe comparable to cigarettes, but less intense and ācleanerā, if that makes any sense. Itās hard to separate the buzz from the relieve that comes with a satisfied craving. Either or, the best results came with the American Scotches and F&T HDT.
I get zilch in the nicotine hit department unless Iāve been munching on an extra strong snus portion. Then i can feel the nic topping off whatās already in my blood. However , i do feel some sort of relaxation when i take a pinch of snuff. Itās not a āhitā itās more like a breath of fresh air if you know what i mean.
it varies for me with type of snuff as well as the state my body and mind is in as well. i get everything from a rush, to a buzz, to relaxing relief to a full on āepisodeā, the latter usually with Dholakia white or Snus and Quit. either way i like all the feelings it gives me.
i personally I get the same result as the orginal poster. I love it!
Now Iām completely off the habit of cigs (snuffed and smoked for years) I can detect the differenece between the two types of hit i a way I couldnāt before. Smoke definitely has a more narcotic effect on me than snuff. Snuff is short, sharp and with a euphoric touch in there. Its also a cleaner type feeling. Iām now literally months in between cigs and had one the other night; it made me feel slighlty muzzy and the bad taste and smell was overwhelming. Strange to say I find dipping/chewing a closer feeling to smoking than snuffing. No two ways about it, snuff is miles ahead as a vehicle for vitamin N.
I donāt really get much of a hit from any of the snuffs Iāve tried so far. No lightheadedness (Iām rather sure that isnāt even a proper word, apart from being listed in the Jamie Hyneman - English - Jamie Hyneman dictionary), no burning scalps. I do know that I did get the rush from cigs a long time ago, and the first time I tried snus during my military service it almost knocked me unconcious. (Not sure of the brand, tho.) Talk about a buzz. But yeah. Nothing of the sort with the stuff Iāve tried so far, just the flavors. Kind of looking forward to trying out the stronger ones oft mentioned on this here forumey thingy.
My first snus I had this amazing narcotic-euphoric thing going onā¦too bad it never happened again. With snuff, Quit gets mixed in with almost all my snuffs. I get a rush mostly, but sometimes I get this wonderful tingle all over my scalp- itās like my brain just lit up. Now that Iāve entered the wonderful world of American scotches,I am getting this feeling all the time! smile.
My experiences are pretty close to those of Mittens above. I can get too much from snus but I donāt think its even possible for me to overdo it Nicotine-wise from snuff. There have been very rare instances where I thought maybe I felt a slight dizzying effect possibly from FUBAR Grunt if anything but not from anything else, not even the expected stronger Dholakia "White: or NTSU ā but then that slight dizzying effect really just as easily could have been the result of my having generally consistently low blood pressure which can give me the sort of āstood up too fastā effect easier maybe than for most, and might not even always require me to actually stand up to get it, so its really hard to say even there.
I donāt know. A couple of minutes ago I shoved a bunch of Wilsonās #20 up my nose and Iām definitely āfeeling itā I guess some days are better than othersā¦
haha bipolarbear- iāve been there. Sometimes too much and I feel like a total tweaker, not a nice feeling!
I only notice it either first thing in the morning, or when Iāve already had a few extra sterk snus, and the pinch shot my blood level of nicotine up a little. Other than that, I donāt get much from it, aside from the odd snuff like NTSU. Even with them, my body gets a buzz once or twice, and then gets used to it.
@shikitohno i stopped using sterks and now I feel snuff all the time. I actually find myself using much less snus getting off the sterks
My usual experience begins with a tingle on the scalp and face followed by a sense of euphoria.
Hey NJ, what color is that stuff youāre using? lol
I usually only get a noticeable hit from Molens Macuba and A/P, and from Toque. As Iām feeling it right now after a few nice pinches of Macuba, itās a slightly euphoric light-headedness but with a corresponding alertness. Iāve never experienced tingling on my face or scalp.
A slight update on my part. After extensive testing, and practiaclly snorting a huge amount of WoS (quite accidentally, I assure you), I came to the following conclusion: The difference in experience is not as much dependant on individual differences between Vitamin N intake and such, but more about the technique. Normally I only take small amounts at a time, separately for each nostril. And should I find myself still lacking something up my nose, I rinse and repeat. This time however, I figured Iād pour enough snuff for both nostrils on the back of my hand, and just sniff a little more carefully. Just like I tend to do with O&G. (As it seems to stick to the skin more.) Suffice to say, it all went horribly wrong. Felt the cloud of snuff hit the back of my throat hard, my eyes water and yes, a burning scalp. Well, more in the back of my head than top, but there you have it. This leads me to think itās a difference in technique and the amount of snuff. But then again, what do I know. Iām probably just doing it wrong. Edit: Well, the euphoria part is more likely than not caused by Vitamin N, however.
