New order from Toque!

Ok guys ordering from Toque Snuff for the first time. Live in the US so made a bulky order. 100 grams each of citrus, vanilla, almond toast, Christmas pudding, sp extra, espresso, absinthe, and chocolate. Customer service from Roderick has been exceptional! Very excited for my order to make it across the pond.

Sit back and relax. Mine has been a much longer time coming than normal. Usually I get it in about 7 business days. This time I ordered in Dec. right after Christmas and am still waiting. Oddly, Mr. Snuff’s order which I placed within 5 min. of the Toque came 8 days ago. I am sure it has to do with all the extra packages.

Great selection of snuff though.

Good to know Roderick. I was planning on 14 days anything sooner is bonus to me! Wasn’t complaining just mainly wanted to praise your awesome customer service!

Yeah. Same here, ordered on the 29th of Dec, shipped the 30th, got it yesterday. The only, complaint that I have is my flask that I ordered. Unfortunately the little latch came detached from the flask the first time I picked it up :frowning: so I can’t latch it to my key chain so I always have a safety stash of whiskey and honey like I had planned, kind of a bummer. The snuff however was good and fresh.

Just an update. I believe mine shipped Monday the 18th(correct me if I’m wrong Roderick) got here today Monday the 28th, the snuffs are absolutely delicious. Thank you Roderick for your outstanding product!

@Drchud it is usually an easy fix with a  pair of pliers. If it at the swivel part just reinsert and give it a light squeeze ,If it the ring that connects the two swivels you may need two pairs of pliers Or just connect directly to the key ring.

Took 3 weeks for my last order from toque, I blame the postal service, it did give me a chance to bitch at my local tobacco shop when they charged me $22 for a 25g tin of McChrystals.

On ordering from Toque - I bought several varieties of snuff from Mr. Snuff.  One of them was Almond Toast, which reviews said there was a pretty strong, sweet marzipan scent.  The snuff was pretty dry, and had a scent (to me) more like a natural/plain toast, with a very slight nuttiness.

Is the problem that I should order direct from Toque to ensure freshness, or did I get my hopes up?

Not complaining, but I can probably find a way to put a 10 for 9 order together if needed.  A marzipan toast still sounds appealing.  :)

Just to recap. I ordered direct from Toque. My order arrived promptly… I’m sure customs and post have their own delays with this but mine was no issue. Snuff was as fresh as a spring flower and quality was ridiculously good. I love Mr snuff for certain things, (kailash) but I will order toque in bulk from Toque. Again ridiculously good product. Very happy with customer service from Roderick.

Also Viking from Mr. Snuff was awesome.

no “Priority International” avail fer shipments to the States ?

i also saw a few places across the pond that still wont sell

any tobacco product here, ther sites still say "Due to credit

card rules changes, we cannot send tobacco products to

the USA"… whats up with that and what was the significant

change that allowed outfits to start shippin’ product here ?

with Royal Mail;s tracked and signed, i get no track info after

it arrives USA into either NY or Chicago. No departure date

and time leaving NY or Chicago, no arrival/departure times

into , out of,  Billings. I dont get an option apparently on shippin’

where after it arrives in NY or Chicago, it connects to a plane

instead of surface ground. Please look into Priority International

as a ship option to the State’s…

yah Roderick, thnks for reply. after it’s all said and done, I’m just glad i can get it… the longer it takes, the better it tastes/smells… … i do wonder why no track info after it arrives in the States tho… no depart time and date outta NY,

no arrival/depart info into and outta Billings… i remember one order arrived chicago, said the date and time, the following day it then said it hit a sort facility in Chicago… that was it til the post carrier brought it here…

purdy frustrating for the amount paid for the ship, it connects to surface ground transportation (truck) from NY addin’ quite a bit more time…

hope ya have a great weekend…

My only inconvenience is do to lack of planning on my part, normally it takes 2 weeks, i really should plan out my order with a bit more time allowed for any delays

Aye, easy fix. Squeezed it and put a little JB weld on there just to make sure it doesn’t fall off at the wrong time. Workin good now.

@lunecat, I think I’d just order carry-out if I lived that close.
