I would like to introduce myself and greet to you all.
My name is Pedro, 65 y.o., Spaniard and snuff taker since more than 45 years ago.
My favourites snuffs were always SPs.
I have tried and tested several snuffs, unfortunately some of them no longer made ( Italian Santo Antonino, Leccese, Sun di Spagna)
WoS, SWS, J&H Wilson’s were my brands ( Best SP, JH no1, Lundy Foot,mSt. James Parish)
But at present, due the aggressive policy of Spanish Gvt against products from UK ( I have lost 3 orders since past February), I decided to make my own snuff….and EUREKA! I am having good results.
I will put a post explaining what I do.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with ordering from the UK. If it’s any consolation in the UK we have a lot of problems ordering from the EU.

But it sounds like you’ve got that sorted by making your own. Looking forward to seeing your recipes.

Very soon I will share my own made recipe, based in the traditional SP snuff tobacco…fine grind, brown or light brown colour, tobacco aroma and spices…and more.

Sounds great Pedro. My snuffs are just bulk cured leaf milled in a coffee grinder. Nothing added. Very nice!

Oh! Great tobacco ! Here in Spain it is imposible to buy tobacco leaf…
I use rolling tobacco without additives and cigars from Canary Islands or some medium level cigars ( 70% rolling)

You used snuff for a pretty long time,that’s for sure!
I am an young snuff taker, i’m 22 years old and taking snuff for under an year. So far,i don’t have any complaints.

But,for the long run, I would like your opinion on snuff taking. Did it give you any problems? Is it generally a generally positive experiece?

I can tell you I never before had health problems with snuff.
I think snuff is one of safest ways to enjoy tobacco.
