Over the last few weeks, I’ve been studying for my Certificate from the Tobacconist University online.
Today, I took my final exam for the CCT and passed with 100% so I’m pretty happy with that.
The history portion, especially, was my weak point and I learned a ton of cool stuff while studying.
In turn, I hope to contribute to their curriculum with articles on snuff as it is somewhat lacking.

Thanks gents!

@ar47, it was interesting to learn about how the Arawak from S. America were the ones that migrated to Cuba with seed.  The sub-group which formed from these peoples was known as the Tainos and that’s who Christopher Columbus met.  Starting in 1717, tobacco in these regions was monopolized and only grown for the “mother-land” of Spain.  It wasn’t until 1817 that this control was lifted and the people could grow and trade freely.  All the way up until 1959, things were booming and that’s when Castro came into play and most of the highest regarded growers had a mass exodus.
