New Fribourg and Treyer 5 gram tins

I just saw that Fribourg and Treyer has started selling some of their snuffs in 5 gram tins on Mr. Snuff. I think it’s a great idea!

Finally!!!

I think I spill that much snuff if I’ve had more than tee martoonis.

5 grams, no thanks! Although the little Jip! tins are handy in a pocket, actually getting the snuff out of there is something else entirely.

I prefer if there are several sizes available. 25 grams is a lot for me, especially if I have not tried the snuff yet.

I wouldn’t mind if the cigarette stalls in the streets were selling them, but I can’t imagine actually sending away for them. Barely worth a postage stamp for a serving so small.

Nice, just ordered 5g of F&T Patchouli to try it out.

I may try the F&T Kendal Brown when free shipping comes about. I been hesitant since it a KB of a different sorts. And I haven’t seen it mentioned much around these parts.

The F&T is not recognizable as a Kendal Brown. It is a very perfumed, finely ground snuff. If you’ve had Wilsons KB (which also isn’t) this is like that on steroids- more finely ground and more perfumed. Both are very hard to take more than a few pinches a day. Somedays the F&T catches me just right but mostly it’s just too much.

However, my tastes run towards coarse/moist plain snuffs and flavored menthols so take what I say with a grain of salt. I am about to throw away almost a full tube of F&T and if it weren’t 5 years old I’d send it to you but I’m not sure you’d get the full effect so it probably isn’t worth it.

@Snuffbox  A very accurate description.  I’d send it off despite its age.  That stuff doesn’t go “stale” for the better part of a century.
