I don’t know if this ability is unique to my person or to others alike but I have inadvertently (to my mind) discovered a new snuffing technique. Mind, that I take all my snuff from a Bernard’s spoon - coarse and fine. But this is really neat for beginners trying out the finer ground snuffs. You simply crinkle your nose up so that when inhaling the fine snuff it hits the top of your nasal passages as opposed to going straight up your nose to the throat and thus failure. I am able to snuff more quantities of finer snuff with this method and when, for instance, snuffing American Scotches you really get the nic hit, then. lol

If I understood you right, I sometimes do it not being aware of it when I take fine ground snuff. I never thought about how it works, it’s just kind of an instinct.

yeah, it is more like instinct - but once you think about it it’s like: wow! hahaha!

Thank you for sharing, Jack. This allows me to take larger bumps of toast. Hits like headshot, WOW, just wonderful!

Ive reached a similar type thing by accident, put the thumb and forefinger actuallt inside the nose and breathe in rather than snort/sniff - makes the strongest snuff easier for somereason.

haha i always push my nose up with my palm of my hand now i have a long crease . wrinkle in it

Thanks for this post Saucy_Jack. I hadn’t thought that crinkling my nose would make any difference. It seemed to make a bit of difference with a HDT I am trying.
