I was playing around with some vidcap software the other night, and came made a vid of my desktop. Here it is if you wanna see! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4lSFueHyh0
Is that your dog/wolf, Carol?
Yeah, her name is Luna. She’s a Husky mix…we think mixed with German Shepard.
husky is the coolest kind of dog ever
husky & akita coolest dogs ever
I also have a Husky-Australian Shepard mix. He’s handsome and he knows it! Another one of Luna:
Well I guess I can’t leave out the little chihuameranian! Here’s Cosmo:
I have a Cosmo too.
Oh yeah, Timber is the Husky/Aussie’s name.
@Carol looks like some friendly friends you have there, oh yea love the bikes too! What size motors they have 50cc 75cc ???
The one on the right is a '71 Honda CT 90, and the one on the left is a '83 Honda CT 110.
Carol, did you find it easy to upgrade from 7? I put 7 in a about 4 months ago, at your suggestion, and it has been great. No hardware issues, everything worked. It much took longer to get family members to accept it, than to get it working. Really happy with Mint as the main os on the desktop. And Puppy 4.30 is still living happily in my dino-laptop. Thanks!
@miamimark is that an African Grey? They are beautiful and intelligent animals, I have wanted one since I was a little boy, my grandmother had 2 parrots, they weren’t African grays but they were a riot, I remember knocking on the wall and they would say WHOSE THERE??? being six years old I found that amazing.
@ibook, no it’s an umbrella cockatoo. African greys (in general) are the best talkers, cockatoo’s are more known for being loving and tend to bond with more than one person. I have 5 parrots and I have had up to about 18. Knowing what I know now, I don’t really recommend them as pets (I used to breed them!) unless the person does a lot of research. They are so highly intelligent and social, they need almost constant attention.
yeah I remember my grandmothers parrots never left her they would always be with her except for work, as soon as she got up, they would be with her until she left for work, in the shower vacuuming everything. Really neat animals, I really would like one but now is not the time in my life for it, going to college full time. a quick question though. Do they go crazy for snuff? I went to the Buffalo Zoo once and they had a large parrot exhibit and a man walked in around me in line and he had a pack of cigarettes in his breast pocket the parrots went at it like they were already addicted. The women had to practically pull the bird off the guy. Don’t remember if it was just one or a few but I remember the guy thought it was hilarious.
I’ve never used snuff near my birds so I’m not sure! I’m a pet sitter so I have many dogs here at all times so I keep the birds in a separate part of my house. When I used to take Cosmo to tiki bars with me, he would always try to drink from my beer. People would look at me funny and I would always say something like “Yea, he likes beer, I don’t know where he gets that from!” Then I would proceeded to drink about 20!
