Okay so I am putting together a snuff order and I just hit a dead end, let me show you what I have in my cart so far.

After this I got lost in the wide range of SG snuffs to choose from. In order to give you guys an idea of what snuffs I might like, let me tell you what I have and have not liked in the past. SG Apple was incredible and I am going to order it in bulk, first bulk purchase ever. SG Vanilla was also amazing. GH Western Glory is fantastic. GH Kendal Brown was pretty good, but I like the above mentioned ones much more. SG Scotch Black was not one I liked very much, it seemed almost sour and I never ended up using it on a daily basis. Viking Brown was not much for me either, maybe it was too earthy, idk really, I liked Viking Dark though, what ever separates the two of them made me like Viking Dark probably as much as I liked GH Kendal Brown. I liked GH English Rose, but I had a messed up container, the snuff was very dry and it kinda burned my nose, but I liked the flavor, I gave it to a friend as a gift though.

I’m looking to add 3 more SGs but I am open to any suggestions to add what ever snuffs I may like and to remove ones that are not as important as trying other ones. I also want to try other brands like F&T but am not sure which ones to choose. Please help me select snuffs that I may like and snuffs that are well appreciated by many snuffers. The help is very much appreciated.

F&T Macouba is a citrus floral delight…I recommend that one.

F.U.B.A.R. Grunt. Buy a 500g tub, decide that you don’t like it, and then trade it to me :]

From the F&T line I would recommend Bordeaux, very floral with hints of bourbon, musk and strong tonquin. If you like that, you might like Princes Special as well, it’s slightly darker but still very complex.

Samuel Gawith Cola is my favourite SG so far but I don’t think they have it at MrSnuff. In fact no one has it last time I checked.

Other than that my favourite snuffs at the moment are Hops by McChrystals - it’s the best SP I’ve had.

Samuel Gawith Banana. Amazing. Honey’s great too.

WoS Vanilla. Vanilla Ice is also good but it’s a menthol so I rarely use it.

McChrystals Mild Lemon when I want a really sweet almost sour snuff.

The rest I like are quite common snuffs like Whiskey and Honey, Spanish Gem, etc

@thorgrimnr @oilmaster I will be sure to add F&T Macouba and Bordeaux, thank you for the suggestions. Sorry @SnuffinClown but i’m not ready to try American snuffs just yet. How about some SGs? I’m really stuck as to which other ones to try

Well, I haven’t tried all that many of the SG range, but I would have to recommend Dr. Verey Full Strength. A good, rich snuff with some solid hints of cinnamon and a touch of mace with some subtle mint as well. Quality stuff!

I’d second SG Honey, I really llike SG Blue Crest, easy to snuff and very nice

Not to be contrary here, but I would only pick the Bordeaux or the Macouba, as they are SO heady, musky, perfumey, whatnot, if you don’t like one of the two you probably won’t touch the other with a ten foot pole- also the scent, if you don’t like it, will haunt you for a couple of hours. Personally I’d suggest Santo Domingo more than those- unless you have an aversion to sandalwood or cedar.  I’d also suggest one of the Dr Verey’s. Also as many here will tell you, it’s much, much better to avoid the 10g tap boxes, they don’t keep the snuff well at all.

I would suggest Samuel Gawith  Banana  and  Toffee .

@Mr.O Okay I will leave out Bordeaux this time, Santo Domingo sounds good, I always loved the smell of cedar but I have never had snuff with that scent.

Dr. Verey’s isn’t too strongly mentholated is it? For some reason I havn’t been able to ever enjoy a menthol snuff that wasn’t Poschl. GH M4X was okay for a while but I don’t really like it much anymore.

Dr. Verey’s Full has no menthol. The Plus has it, I think.

although not cigar like Santo Domingo seems to be enjoyed by cigar smokers it might be the cedar thing. Great snuff by the way.
