Can anybody give me a guide to which 6 photo is in which packaging (assume the outer packing has been removed) Hard to tell from snuff store images
The motia I got was in this plastic container wrapped in cardboard. It looked like it’d been beaten with a mallet, full of cracks. Oh well it did come all the way from India, the snuff inside is fine, I just taped it up. Super Kailash and Cheeta both came in White Elephant-style tins - metal with the weird plastic thing under the lid that you have to cut through. Those are the only 6 photos I’ve tried so far
Natural is brown in color slight lime scent Super kailash is brown but has a farmish type scent Cheetah is off white and has a nag champa type scent Anarkali is black and has a rose scent Kailash and special were similar but its been a while since I had either Motia is black and has a hint of camphor i beleive. Not sure about the packaging as i jar my snuffs up and toss the containers. Hope this helped
@distaind that’s funny my Super kailash smells like a urinal cake
@horus92 great now next time I use it I’m sure that’s all I will be able to smell :))
horus92 - somewhere like Proctor and Gamble or Johnson & J there are highly paid scientists developing better urinal cakes. When the China market opens up someone will become rich with pork scented urinal cakes.
Horus, try the #6 and #66 medicated from 6 photo. They are menthols, but very different from the English or German types. They will open your nose, and there are other scents in there too, although I don’t know what they are. And like you, my 45 gm tin was plastic covered w/ cardboard and kinda battered looking. The snuff was fine. A little goes a long way with the medicated ones. They make my nose feel cold, which is okay. I like all the 6 photos I’ve tried. I don’t know what a urinal cake smells like anymore, but to me, they(6 photos) are all pretty nice. I enjoy them all, but at different times and for different reasons. Don’t let the negative remarks dissuade you. They are all quite unique, even though some take a little while to appreciate. I didn’t like Super Chetak at first, reading somebodys comment that it smelled like “old lady” perfume, or talcum powder, or some such shit. After I tried it a few times, I began to like it more. You can’t overdo it, b/c its really scented heavily. I actually add it to Sparrow plain sometimes for a toned down version, and it’s nice. Well, there’s my two cents on the subject. Experiment yourself. One thing I have learned from reading all the snuff comments here is that everyone perceives things differently, just like everything else in life, politics, music, art, hobbies,sports, etc.
Almost all of the 6 photos have some sandalwood.
I can’t identify whats in the 6 photo medicated, except Motia, which is another name for jasmin. The #6 seems tohave menthol or camphor, plus something sweet. I really like them all, but I use them sparingly.
jasmine? im glad i never got round to ordering motia then…
@asieg33 http://www.snuffhouse.org/discussion/6511/which-six-photo-is-which. This may help a little
That’s funny I never thought of motia as smelling like Jasmine, I always thought it was rose! A lovely snuff indeed. My favorite mentholated snuff by far.
