Well…my order came and with it my first Indian snuff (which I will review soon enough), the 6 Photo Special. But first this point to clarify: the tin says naswar. From what I know about naswar, it’s meant to go into your mouth. (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naswar) Is this or is this not a nasal snuff? And is it as dangerous as (mouth-consumed) naswar has the reputation to be? It might just be the case that the word naswar simply means “tobacco powder” and can be applied to different products. In India most snuff is taken orally as a dentifrice, hence the labeling, but it is definately a nasal snuff. 6P Special is one of my favorites.
Where can I get Indian naswar for oral use?
6 Photo Special is a tool for me, best decongestant, snuff very satisfying . Haven’t yet used it orally.
thanks but they dont seem to carry naswar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naswar
6 Photo Kailash is similar. 6 Photo Cheetah is a exotic white snuff, harder to use - because of the fineness of the grind. delivers a powerful nicotine hit. 6 Photo Chetak Moist Is dual purpose I tried it orally. Not a favorite and in the nose takes some getting use to, makes me sneeze a lot [first try], and falls out. The menthol is strong in this one with nose feel.
if there are anyone from india on this forum. I am interested in buying some naswar
@dasr contact @shalimarisl maybe he can help you get some http://snuffhouse.org/discussion/8509/pakistani-naswar-pakistani-snuff-نسوار
