I know that many of us do not like dextrose-based “white snuffs,” but some of us, in an attempt to reduce our nicotine intake like to substitute sugar sniffs for tobacco. I ordered a tin of Bernard’s Naseweis from SnuffGear when placing an order for boxes and bullets. I like this product for a couple reasons. First of all, Bernard uses a tap box with a slide cover over a triangular opening. This allows the box to dispense about the correct amount for a good wiff without making a lot of mess. Secondly, the powder is very pleasantly flavored with mint and a good blast of menthol. No, this will not be my first choice for a nose-opener; sugar sniffs tend to clog up the sinuses anyway. But as a “cut” for other tobacco-based snuffs or a once-in-awhile treat, Bernard’s Naseweis is quite good. I am eager to try the more heavily-scented Naseweis Extra, as I feel that the regular Naseweis lacks strength (to my tastes, anyway). Again, this is a nice change of pace if only for a whiff or two before returning to one’s favorite tobacco. For what it is, I rate this at 4 out of 5 stars.
