ive noticed when i took a snuff this morning i didnt just have the normal burn i had a pinching stinging pain in one particular spot in my nose has this happened to any of you all before?
Common lump that usually shows on the skin, but this time showed in your nose. Or inflammation of the hair follicle
what should i do stop using snuff on that side
Well I would imagine that it’s not as much an ulcer as it is a flat sore or folliculitis Use a weaker snuff on the opposite side of the pain ( I would recommend taking a full break for a couple days but I know this isn’t always easy. ) Use a saline nose spray and try not to blow your nose so hard. This will be uncomfortable and without looking up there I can’t say for sure but give it a rest and I assure you it will heal, our body is a matrix. Report back here if you find the time after a few days to let us know if it’s healed.

Yuck mrsa, once staph colonizes in the nose it can in the groin and armpits too then you’re SOL lol I’m assuming it’s a secondary infection or irritation caused by snuffing in his case. Would be easier to fix too
Next time you go in the shower make sure it’s nice and hot/warm the way you like it and soap that nose like your trying to get the whole nose off. Like inside out as much as possible. I find that to help. I think keeping used tissues in your pocket and reuse them could make problems as well.

Interesting. Go to the walk in and have it cultured. If the mouse is right and it is staph ( it can only be staphylococcus or streptococcus ) but if it’s going in and around the nose it sounds like staph and that’s bad news. The reason you want it cultured if it’s spreading is because if it is mrsa ( which is basically just mutated staph ) you can become a carrier forever, infect love ones, or spread to other parts of your body. If it comes back as normal flora then you’re fine but get it cultured if you can by a doctor. Mrsa can look like boils, tiny pimples, a flat rash but mainly ulcers. Regular Staph tends to be fat red, or boils. Both can colonize in your nose

Only once have I had an issue of any sorts and that was what one can only politely describe as a hard bit just inside my nose. In private I tried to pick it out but nothing came of that. I lightened up on that side for a few days and gave my nostrils a good flush while in the shower. After a few days it subsided and I have not had anything of the sort again. Actually I take that back- during a particularly active few days of snuff use via the boxcar method I get a bit of irritation on the outside of my nostrils, but that was due to my not wiping off after taking snuff. While snuff has potential to contribute to nose issues given that’s where it goes, I think its safe to assume that you can experience all sorts of infected follicles, pores and the like that if you were not suing snuff would go unnoticed, but as a user of snuff you are more likely to notice things up there. As with anything else, if the symptoms change or it gets worse, a visit to the doctor should be in order. Be honest about your snuff use as this could be the cause or an aggravating issue.

One time I sniffed some of that FUBAR white snuff way too hard and my nose was messed up for a couple of weeks, it was always stuffed up on that side and somewhat painful. I quit using snuff for a couple of weeks and just dipped and it went away.

My guess is his nose imploded and he’s now officially in the Twilight Zone. Rofl.
it must have just been the toque cause when i switched to a different snuff for a few days the pain went away in that spot. all is well now. altho i seem to be getting alot of blackheads on my nose since i started lol

I think what horus went through recently happened to me also very recently but who knows if it was actually from snuff. Anyway my whole right side was blocked for like a week with thick clear stuff. Anyway today I reluctantly took a break from snuff and I am clearing up. Hopefully back to normal when my order of havana toast, postillion and cafe 11 show up this week.
