Nasal Hair

This is a strange one. Generally I use a straw to bypass my nasal hair. Would minimizing this hair increase nicotine absorption. I would think not in that the hair is to prevent allergens, insects etc. from getting to the absorbing membranes, but perhaps someone here knows more.

I started trimming the buggers for snuffing. Snuff lining the inner nostrils seems to be just as effective at getting the job done. Actually, from the allergen aspect it’s been incredibly more effective.

I normally braid mine to keep them from tickling my ears =))

I clip mine and sell it online to girls who use weaves

A lighter usually takes care of any unwanted stragglers :O)

I had been growing it long to help form the handlebar on my mustache. But for the sake of nicotine it goes with the help of a hong kong (ebay) combo nasal hair, ear hair trimmer and pasta maker. Anybody in need of extra hair pm me. When it got long enough i was going to braid it into my arm pit hair to provide extra protection against whiplash in case of a rearender (some here don’t understand my sense of humor so the rearender I refer to is an auto accident). My occasional mention of pain killers is my few times a week use for a seriously damaged disc from a being rear ended (by an auto) 22 years ago. Restored vintage mustang convertible when only head rests were girlfriends lap = not advised when car is in motion.

No need to change your nose hair grooming habits for snuff one way or the other, although taking up snuffing may bring to light that you do not have any nose hair grooming habits.

Tried shaving my nasal hair with a straight razor. They did reattach it and find the stitches do not interfere with snuffing. and given the wounds are still somewhat open I get a stronger nicotine hit though less aroma.

I pluck mine. I must be a masochist because I enjoy the pain.

I’ve cleaned mine with one of my extra hollow straights. It was very reminiscent of a Roger Corman flick.

got my $4 ebay nose hair trimmer. Not sure about nicotine absorption but it makes using the straw a lot easier. Nose seems cleaner to (I AM not a picker, just check for snuff build up when bored). found if you take the top off a raw egg the trimmer will scramble it in shell. don’t bother cleaning the trimmer as nose hair is gluten free.

Evan does it best , this one always makes me smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHa77oTRVvY

shaman, great vid. he starts with the $4 nose clipper I just received. Now I have to give it star treatment. apvonkanel - I’m jealous. Had a full set of top of the line swedish steel straights. Apartment burglarized and the burglars knew quality. Probably used them to hold up old ladies for their Copenhagen. Think they were helvestrands.

Burglars suck! Brookstone used to sell non-electric rotary trimmers where you just squeeze the handle, harder to find quite the same thing. I don’t need something else that uses batteries. Some manuals on the market, mostly not the type of mechanism I’m looking for…
