My toast is soggy!

D

I have some HDT in a snuffhouse plastic snuff box. It’s so humid here in NY right now that my toast has humidified itself and now tastes gross! You can see that the grains have swollen. I guess I should put some of my dried-out SP in there and let it rehydrate. Anyone else had this topsy-turvy humidity problem?

Your HDT is suffering from Dihydrogen Monoxide poisoning. Euthanasia is the only cure.

“Correos” (Spanish post) messed up with my second snuff order so bad that the package came dripping water. They had it thrown into a pond or something… anyway, the tin of Toque Lime Toast I had ordered got hit and some moisture got inside and… bingo! Now I have something between mud and thick custard, and it gets worse with time…

I’ve never had this problem and it gets plenty humid where I am. I wouldn’t store more than a day or two’s worth of snuff in one of those plastic snuff boxes. I decant my bulk snuffs into the 10g Toque tins with the threaded lids which keeps them in fine condition for quite awhile.

It was probably because if the hunidity coupled with the fact that it was in my trouser pocket all day. It gets like a lava lamp in my pants when it’s hot and muggy

All of my Togue so far has came dented but, not so bad it cause an air gap @Marvinlapsus. I mourn in the loss of your Toque even if it is a flavor I shall not try. Where I live if, my package was that soaked and, beat up, I would have a few words with my local post master. Maybe not his fault but, his the closest to blame.

Soggy toast? Go easy on the butter…

But I thought that’s how you make a schmalzer?!
