Ive just made this up as I have a day off work and am mooching about the place, playing a bit of blues, taking a sip of wine and doing some snuff juggling, I call the concoction: WilsonPrise 10 parts WoS Rose of Sharrow 10 parts Toque original 5 parts Toque Vanilla 5 parts Gletscher Prise This is seriously tasty. Only use fresh snuff as old stuff would be in danger of making it a bit gritty Snuffster

Ooh, that does sound good! I don’t have any WoS Rose Of Sharrow - can I substitute Toque Rose, do you think?

Definitely Debs, they are very close. I like it so much I have just used three full tins and the remains of a pound tub of WoS Rose. I’ve got about a quarter of a pound now in the Wilsons drum and sitting here with my silver snuff box full of it. Obviously, its just a simple home blend but I was really startled about how good it tastes; for once Ive found a use for a Poschl snuff!

Great - I’ve never been too fond of Gletcherprise on it’s own, but I’m going to mix up a batch of WilsonPrise (erm, without any Wilson’s!) later tonight. Cheers for the tip, snuffster!

my pleasure, hope your blend works out. The Toque rose will do fine as its a great snuff, put a ful tin of GP in if you can as you want that menthol tang to come out. This could be made with all sorts of substitutes I guess. Nigel

I’ve just made a small batch (using Natural instead of Original) - enough to fill a PC snuff box - and it is delicious! I then strayed a little from the recipe: 10 parts Toque Rose 4 parts Toque Natural 5 parts Toque Vanilla 2 parts Toque Lavender 2 parts Toque Violet 6 parts Gletscher Prise and that’s pretty good, too!
