My hairdresser gave me some smokeless tobacco, cool huh?

A

I was in my hairdressers today to freshen up and i knew they are both Algerian… and i had smelt cigarette smoke on one of them before. Anyway, i mentioned i smoked a briar pipe occassionally joking that i was an old man… well, i then asked them about Makla? You know it, i said…?

Then the other guy goes: “Ah chema…”

And it turns out they both use this chema stuff (not the Poshchl brand but loose moist buy kind of dry tobacco in a pouch)

I showed him my Skruf Stark portions and then i asked if i could try it. So he wrapped me up some in a Rizzla.

They were expecting me to be sick or dizzy as they said that’s what people do when they try it but i am used to stark snus.

It was good! No flavour as such just a nice long and clean nic hit.

When i got home and took it out some came loose from the Rizzla and without the paper there and with direct contact it was very strong!

That was probably Algerian state monopoly stuff, coarser and drier and more tobaccoish than Eurotrash makla. I got that from shop here in Dublin. It’s very good!

I’m jealous. I hate the shit out of Makla. I dry heave when I even think about that stuff. There are not many tobacco products that I’ve actually thrown out, but Makla earned it with all three of those disgusting things I tried.

Really? he called it Chema… he says you can buy it locally if you know the right people (Algerians i guess)  I’d like to know more about it.
