My blog on snuff- suggestions?

Hello. I’ve been using snuff for a while now and decided to do some writing on it. I’ve got only a few articles up right now, but I’m planning on writing up some more info on snuff in general, then the particular snuffs of different regions. I’d appreciate if you guys could give me some feedback on what’s good, what’s not, and what I should make more of. Thanks, http://epiphexsnuff.blogspot.com/

Looks good so far! Just keep with it and I am sure it will work out well. In the mean time take a look at @ermtony and his blog. http://ermtony.pbworks.com/w/page/14871474/FrontPage

Thanks, looking forward to putting a lot of work in to it. Very cool, there’s a lot of great information on here. Is there somewhere I can find an index of blogs that belong to the members of this site? I’d like to look around as much as possible.

There might be a thread somewhere in the catacombs, I am not familiar with the new search engine. @miamimark has a page and there is always Snuff Reviews.

I haven’t done anything on my page forever! It’s basically just a list to use for “inventory control” and trades. https://sites.google.com/site/markthedogwalker/

Promising blog! Personal and informative and looks nice, good luck to you.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Allan and Jesu. There’s some really great snuff blogs out there, thanks for the new reads mia and cstokes. I’ll have to search around for some more, the collections that these guys have just baffle me, I’m jealous.

Snuff Belgium has one. Cstokes used to. Dajawu has Snuff Reviews. Then there is Top25Snuff. The last two are not blogs exactly. Most of the snuff vendors have them too, but recently its mostly been information that relates to thier shop.

I didn’t have time to keep mine updated, so instead of keeping something around that was old, I deleted it.

That’s a pretty fancy blog. I like the old fashioned background. I guess some people want to ‘reintroduce’ snuff by making it flashy and such. I like the old look, (like the outside of the F&T tins.) It would be interesting to see what users are drawn to most…I’m sure someone has already done the research.

Thanks Xander, I’ll be reading these plenty in the coming nights. Maybe I’ll even find some ideas for my own. Bart, I’m glad you like the design- but I’m planning on replacing it with some of my own photography and designing (probably going to go a little regal with it). That’s just a template that blogspot gave me to start out with. I agree with you on the snuff designs, Toque and Poeschl’s are both pretty guilty of trying to make things look new and modern (despite how good their snuff might be). I’m more of a fan of the historical stuff though- Fribourg & Treyer’s tins do a great job at this.
