what is the best guitar - amp you have ever played

Like snuff this too changes over time with me. ATM I favor a homemade parts Tele and a Mid 60’s Silvertone 1482. A very sweet combination here, I do tend to run a bit of reverb though it and other pedals as the mood suits.

depends what you mean by best. i believe my favourite was a blackstar head (cant remember what it was specifically, sorry) through twinned orange 4x12 in stereo, sounded beautiful when used with some weird effect pedals. the amp i desire to get is a blackstar ht5r head and a 4x12, since i need it for recording. this would go with my ibanez art 120 and my ibanez artcore as73. i played my guitars and a gibson firebird through the above setup. though i can imagine it being great with a fender blacktop, i like those.

I loved my Casino to death and hated my GIbson 61 SG reissue, but I with breaking it in, the SG has really become my favorite electric. My tex/mex strat comes in second. I only have really played my two amps a crate all tube 2x12 combo, and a solid state combo. I prefer the solid state, I just can’t get the tone I want out of the tube amp. My 12 string ibanez acoustic sounds amazing through my bass cab which has horns.

Live music is amazing. Using certain rooms and other amphitheater structures rather than an amplifier creates quite the emotion. To compare to electric music you might want to be exposed to the electricity directly.

I had bought my daughter line 6 amp and a Schecter Special Edition Synyster Gates Custom (Joker Purple w/Green Stripes). The line 6 is way better than the marshal amp. All the knobs go up to eleven. Personally I am musically challenged, and because of listening to electrified music I have ruined my hearing. It was predicted by my parents this would happen. %-( So the moral of the story kitties is, parents know best. :-@
