Greetings to all. Does anyone know whats going on at MrSnuff?
I am a relative newcomer to snuff, and have placed three orders within the last 30 days - the first I received in 12 days, the second in 11. ( I placed the third just 2 days ago and it shows shipped .) All in all I am extremely pleased with the service - the time does not seem untoward to me ( I can say I have almost ZERO experience with international shipping - well , European - I do order from China / Taiwan / Hong Kong for some electrical stuff - but seems fine to me personally. ) Could it be you have ordered something that there is a stock issue with ?
I would like to point out that Mr.Snuff doesn’t package or ship his products a warehouse he contracted does so when a package is late getting shipped it’s the warehouses fault not Mr.Snuff since he doesn’t own or operate the warehouse
I suppose that’s like saying the tree isn’t responsible for the fruit it produces? I believe there are also computer problems in the mix.
I’d exercise some caution here - I can understand your frustration, but I think it might be a bit untoward to say that MrSnuff “don’t understand their market”. I, and everyone else on here, can assure you they most certainly do, even to the point of providing us with this forum. Not having the need to place an order at the moment, I’m not going to do so just to see how long it takes to get to me and if there’s a problem. I’m surprised that if there is, you haven’t been informed, because my experience of their customer service is that it’s excellent. Perhaps though, bombarding them with emails might not be the answer. I’d recommend sitting down calmly, taking a stress pill and thinking things over. There may be a perfectly logical answer, or maybe @MrSnuff might let us know via website or the forum, if there’s an issue.

Greetings to all. Does anyone know whats going on at MrSnuff? I have been snuffing for just over a year and have ordered from Mrsnuff once before. The order was processed and shipped in 1 day. This time i placed an order last Friday and today (Thursday) my order still says processing. I emailed Andrea on Tuesday and she said she would check with the warehouse and have it sent straight away. I decided to push a bit and emailed the next day asking for an update, no response. Two days have passed and i have politely been asking for an explanation, if i knew what was happening i wouldn’t be so stressed about it. Kind of feels like i just threw good money down the drain. They obviously don’t understand there market, i assume most snuffers upon making an order wait eagerly for it’s arrival. To make things worse I live in South Africa and the selection here is minimal, so i’v been stuck with the same brands for ages, but i’m grateful still. I think that MrSnuff is either going to get there act together or close, i advise everyone to exercise caution when placing an order during this time. I guess i’m just venting. Should i just cut my losses and try somewhere else, although i’m yet to find any decent snuff sites online, maybe order from toque, sharrow, or mcchrystal’s direct? Thanks UPDATE!! I got an email from customer service, it seems they are having problems with there system and my order was actually shipped on Tuesday, but it didn’t update on the site. I hope they get through these technical problems, it must be frustrating! I’m going to continue to order from them.

Having absorbed all of that, ordering direct from Toque and WoS is always a good option, in my experience. Mr snuff has an excellent range, though, with some stuff you just can’t get anywhere else and all in one place.
I ordered from them a month ago and it arrived internationally in 7 days. I ordered late Thursday evening my time and it was shipped the next day on Friday in the UK it took exactly a week in was in NY by Tuesday but if the postal service wouldn’t of sent it to the wrong sorting faculty it would of been here sooner. Their email for reason says that they stopped checking it. So maybe it has to do with that?
If there’s a better online snuff shop operating on this planet, no-one on snuffhouse has discovered it yet.
Your complaints are valid. But as they are the MAIN source of snuff, for me at least, you pretty much have to grin and bear whatever arises. Besides they’re great people over there.
Particularly with international orders, I’d also say that most delays are the result of issues with the mail and customs. You can’t really blame the retailer for that. As @lunecat says, the best policy is not to live hand to mouth, don’t wait until you’re down to your last gram before putting in an order. In Indonesia, I’ve been on the verge of telling Andrea that I’ve passed the one month period half a dozen times or more, only to have the package arrive a few days later. I don’t even start to get concerned until after a month these days. Hmm. Better check the mail box. Been about a month since I put in for some Firedrac. Be another couple of weeks before I even start feeling hopeful about @chefdaniel’s package.
Patience is a virtue… First thing you need to keep in mind is that you are makng an INTERNATIONAL transaction. Second thing to keep in mind is that Mr. Snuff has been in the process of recitifying some software issues.
@snuffer Have a nice drink, a few deep breaths and take it easy. In my experience, before and after The PACT Act screwed things up, you won’t find better, more friendly and responsive service in the snuff world than you will get from Mr. Snuff. Then keep things in perspective; if in the USA, who ya gonna call? There’s only three vendors that ship to US; Mr. Snuff, Toque and Snuff.me.uk Roderick makes some extremely nice snuff, top notch, and ships his own quickly, efficiently and competitively priced. Snuff.me can be iffy and has limited inventory. That leaves Mr. Snuff if you have broad horizons when snuff collecting. Andrea is an angel and has never once taken more than a few hours to respond, including weekends and late nights. We are very lucky to have them on our side. Cheers PS Good luck with the cigs.
