is this any good for sifting/grinding snuff? im after something for going through lumpy bulk snuff before decanting, and for grinding coarser snuffs a bit finer. will it do either trick, or is it just like the ‘herb grinders’ people use for weed?

It’s really small. It’s barely big enough to grind out a sample pinch to determine if something is worth grinding into snuff.

ah… just since my swisher scotch clearly isnt going to turn up and they ran out (though its still shown in stock…) i get to pick something else i want, preferably from local warehouse (not US, like the scotch) to the same value ($10.95). which is a bummer since grand cairo 25g is out of stock, and its just shy of a snuffbox and a bigger tin of something.

I use a electric coffee grinder and/or rolling pin “instead of mortar and pestle” Also a tea strainer to sieve. I use this method for home made, as well as milling a coarse grind snuff. VD and Grunt 50/50 fine is one I like.

I think those small grinder are intended for coco beans
