What are you’re thoughts on mr snuff? i’ve sent him a couple of emails with questions and have received no replies. Also I was happy to see you could buy WoS blends in bulk from him now I see you can only buy WoS SMBLUE and nothing else. That is disconcerting. I suppose after such meticulous service from Tom I’m overly cautious and with this spectre of PACT haunting me I’m needing to buy in bulk a few things.

I’ve had nothing but positive transactions with Mr. Snuff. I have emailed Dave many times and have always received a reply. I have just emailed him today about the Wilson’s bulk situation. Chances are, he sold all the bulk he had and just hasn’t updated the website, since it is a holiday weekend. Or maybe even he is trying to lessen his stock a little so that the move to the UK is a bit easier on him.

I have mainly dealt with MrSnuff, and I’ve never had any issues, or lack of reply. Being the weekend, he may just not be at the email.

yeah great experiences with mr snuff. In fact in one post recently he explained the lack of e-mail replies. In fact when I’ve emailed him I’ve been shocked about the reply speed.

Just looked, can’t find it, thought I remembered Daves PACT Bulk sale was a special deal. Collect orders and then submit to the manufacturers. i.e. he wasn’t stocking the bulk. I had actually looked just this morning thinking to place another bulk order as well, I too was disappointed to see the lack of offerings. That said, I have had previous good communications, couldn’t figure how to address an order for shipment to Iraq, and a series of rapid fire e-mails from Dave got it sussed out. I’d agree that between the holiday weekend and putting the wheels under moving operations, Dave’s prolly a busy boy!

I have had nothing but good service from Dave at Mr.Snuff, I have always split my orders with him and Tom. Dave went the extra mile for me more than once. And I just received all of my bulk Wilsons, I am very happy now and wanted to thank him for fixing me up. I am sure he has his hands and sadly his mind full of things now. Double thumbs up from me, and thanks for putting together the bulk purchase deal, I am set now, no worries. I am tipping a pinch your way Dave!

I would like to reiterate the positive support for Dave. Always been a pleasure doing business with him and he will go the extra mile for his customers. Got me a 500 gram order of Fubar Grunt never been offered before.

I received my ‘Beat PACT’ bulk order yesterday. I couldn’t be happier.

Dave only has listed on his site the bulk items he has in stock. One month ago, he had 460s of WoS Best SP, SM Blue and F&T Old Paris in stock (as far as Wilson’s brands go; he usually keeps more McChyrstals in stock, given the smaller containers). Now he only has the SM Blue in stock. Normally, when you place a bulk order from Mr. Snuff, the items are ordered directly from the manufacturer within 24 hours of placing the order. Delivery times vary because the time it takes for an item to clear U.S. Customs is unpredictable. I placed a large bulk order prior to the PACT sale, and received it in less than 14 days. I made it clear to Dave that I would PREFER to get the bulk items direct from the factory rather than from his stock, and that’s exactly what I got. Based on my experience so far, Dave et al. at Mr. Snuff are absolutely reliable. But like Tom, they don’t carry much bulk stuff in stock, given the overhead costs of carrying a huge, slow moving inventory (there are 66 varieties of WoS, according to snuffreviews.com), and given that one of the main reasons that most people buy bulk is to get something “fresh” straight from the factory.

The WoS/F & T bulk I received was ordered directly from the factory. Don’t be afraid to place factory orders. Dave will get them to you in a timely manner.

Don’t feel bad. I won’t be using any of this bulk for a while to come, as I plan to beat PACT until the end of my days. I am going to decant it into Mason jars (I bought all those damn things; might as well use them!), but if left undisturbed these 460g tubs will keep the snuff fresh for some time. Over the long run, though, well-sealed canning jars are the way to go in order to retain absolute freshness.

saucy_jack, I echo everyone else’s sentiments. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with Mr.Snuff. He’s always responded to my emails withing 24 hours and ordering snuff thru Dave’s site has always been a pleasure.

I just received my first larger order from Mr. Snuff. I knew he had a good reputation. Order and it will come. Besides, a watched pot never boils…

Apparently the fastest way to get a responce it to post a “shotgun blast to the face” via this forum. Mr. Snuff I see you getting blasted all the time. Whats the deal man? seem nice enough to me.

I only recall 2 “call outs”, this one, from an email not immediately replied to, and someone who’s bulk got sent to the wrong address. I think most of us have positive experience with MrSnuff, so we come to his defence, but things can go wrong sometimes, so we all should realize that and be patient. I’ve had a couple little irks, but they were always taken care of in great fashion.

I inquired about a significant bulk order, and Dave was very quick to reply. In these uncertain times, I always like to give the benefit of the doubt to those who have been hardest hit by the new rules and regulations. Best wishes to you, Dave!

Just ordered my first shipment of snuff ever. I ordered it from Mr. Snuff, about 12 tins worth. Will I be getting this shipment? I have been trying to read up on this PACT and am still uncertain. Thank you.

WhiZZle - you will be getting your order. If anything, it may take a couple extra days (which I doubt that will even happen), but you will get your order. Mr. Snuff is a great online retailer. I’ve had no problems with him. I even sent an email to him earlier today concerning a bulk order I have placed and he emailed me back not even an hour later. Great customer service from Dave and Natasha.

When Mr Snuff moves to the UK (?!?!? Been off the forum a couple of days and must have missed something lol), will we still be able to order American snuffs off him? I’ve never used Dave unfourtunately but would like to. Also will the full Dholakia line (Black/White/Blast/Temptation/Wow etc. that I have never tried), be available from the UK? Snus won’t happen in the UK, unless their laws change. Actually, EU law would have to change.

However the Swedish Doctor on the 60 minutes piece did mention efforts being made to change those laws.

Sounds to me that moving to the UK might be great for mrsnuff’s business…people like Stefan are going to start using his services, too!

My experiences with Mr. Snuff have been nothing but positive and he’s my most highly recommended snuff supplier. Thinking on snuff availability, I remember when I first started trying snuffs around ten years ago and I read a website by the Professor and somehow was able to obtain the Snuff By Post leaflet. I recall ordering a range of samples along with a half drum of Tom Buck. Week after week passed and no snuff arrived. Charles Dull from the Sheffield Exchange called me personally and kindly explained a situation regarding shipment of snuff to the US that limited availability of that quantity and offered helpful alternatives. I’m guessing that no retailers wanted to stock bulk snuff, understandably, but also that few were in the practice of basically special ordering drums for customers due to lack of demand at that time in the US, etc. Mr. Snuff has done this, and I’m glad to hear will continue. I expect that Dave will continue to be my first choice when it comes to ordering snuff, and I wish him and all those affected the very best during this unusual and ridiculous time. I’m looking forward to this half drum of Best S.P coming soon, lately I’ve been wanting a departure from the usual S.S. and Toque Original, and Grand Cairo has somehow become more of an occasional pinch these days.
