My last order hasn’t arrived in 14 days now and I’m becoming to be a little worried. It probably went fine from Mr. Snuff, as I got an e-mail that the order has been shipped, but how can I solve this if the postal services screwed up? Do I get a refund from someone somewhere? What should I do if it doesn’t come in few more weeks?
The ‘order has been shipped’ e-mail has been sent on 17th of November and all the orders I made so far came in about 10 days, mostly under that.
I’m probably overreacting a bit, as the post is generally a bit slower when Christmas is near, but I’d like to know what should I do if there is a problem somewhere on the post office’s part.
I’m a little worried about my order too. This is my second order with mr snuff last time they sent me an email next working day it was shipped I ordered on Friday nothing yet. I’m just hoping my HDT lasts till I get it.
yeah I wouldn’t worry at this point. Wait I would worry but I’d know I didn’t really need to. My last two packages from england the first 7 days or so. The one before that it took more then a 14 days. I thought it might be lost for sure.
@ Eric Hill. I also placed an order on Friday and have heard nothing. I checked my bank and the transaction hasn’t been processed. Guess there must be a problem.
@Khalid no problem at all. I can’t wait to get my order… 100 grams of hdt, 50 of fubar grunt, and 25 of D white… I’ve been rationing them out because my supply is low but once I get it it’s party time.
I too am more than a little concerned about shipping of any tobacco products to the US, since I recently read online at NICOTINERUSH.COM that they won’t ship most of their snuff to the US anymore because of the taxes imposed at our Federal and State levels. From what I read the US Government has imposed impossible restrictions on the import of tobacco products of any kind. As an example: the snuff company must submit their ingredients formula for FDA approval and then collect approptiate taxes for the Feds and State the item is being shipped to. If this is true, it will effectively put constraints on companies outside the US which will be nearly impossible to meet, never mind sharing of their formulas. Has anyone heard any more on this subject. I’m truly concerned that I’ll be limited to the rather unsophisticated snuff made here in the US.
@yenahclem don’t jinx it! lol seriously everything has been ok so far, my orders from Toque and Mr Snuff came no problems whatsoever. Hopefully snuff will stay below the radar for a long time to come.
The US has a treaty with the UK. Anything that is sent by Royal Mail will be delivered by US mail if it is legal to mail it in the UK. The rule on revealing all ingredients applies to products for retail sale in the US. That being said many things do get lost in international mails.
I put in a really big order last week, arrived 3 days later (in Europe), David asked me if I would like tracking ($7,03) and insurance ($4,02), could be worth it for bigger orders. Very soon this option will be on David’s website and available to all. Until then just ask David. Hope your package arrives soon, seems to me that your postal service looks a lot like ours ;-(
I would love to have tracking on there as well… One good thing since my order didn’t ship out yet I got to add two last minute tins… Wilson’s toast 22 and Samuel Gawith irish d light, can’t wait to try those.
@yenahclem: Hate to break it to you, but that’s old news. Things have been that way since July or so. And as mentioned previously, the FDA requirement is only applied to retail sales within the US. No additional funding has been given to customs to help find tobacco coming in, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
