I placed an order over 2 weeks ago(15 days) and still have not received.  Is this typical?  I’m in New Mexico.

You’re not alone.  I talked to a guy that waited 16 days, and I’m on day #15.  It isn’t typical, normally they only take 7 days for me (Nebraska).  I don’t know what the holdup is in the mail system right now.

The longest I have had to wait is 27 days, not counting Sunday.  So far, it has only happened the one time.

I’m on 16 days right now. I’m sure the MLK holiday has delayed, but hope it comes today.  I’m jonesin!

how much is the tax on it if you get it shipped from mrsnuff to usa, is there an import tax?

No tax - just the snuff + delivery.  Here’s what the invoice totals look like (you have different shipping options unless the order gets big.  It seems like once your order is above $100, Tracked and Signed is the only option.

my track and signed land in chicago and connects to surface ground… the standard ship lands in NY and connects to surface ground… that takes longer… no international priority… and what i pay for track and signed, 

it would be nice if it connected to plane in either NY or Chicago. I ordered a pipe tool from Al Pascia in Milan Italy and had it in 48 hrs, i still can’t believe that one…

Finally came!  Two days shy of 3 weeks.  Wow!

I am in Georgia, and my orders usually take 11-14 days to arrive, which is about as good as Royal Mail International Standard gets. 

Kinda surprised to hear the long shipping times to the US. I usually get my packets in Indonesia in about seven days, although up to two weeks.

Its usually 10 days on the dot to Hawaii.

I’m with @lunecat, now that I have most of my favories in bulk I don’t sweat the delivery times. And now that It doesn’t matter how long it takes it never takes as long as it used to. Definitely some Zen and the Art of Snuff Taking going on.

I’m with @lunecat too. I can’t imagine the sort of reckless risk taker who would wait until their supplies were running low before ordering more.

Mine will be two weeks today if it doesn’t come. This is the longest it’s ever been. It makes me wonder if it’s due to a large Havana toast order, LOL

Ordered 15 days ago, payed the same day via european bank transfer, still “processing”. 

I sense that they are taking longer to get their shipments to out the door. I don’t think we should just assume that it is delayed by customs at JFK. I could be wrong but I think something is amiss.

My shipment finally came in at the 17 day mark. This is after 4 prior shipments all being 8-9 days each.

I placed an order February 3rd - or at least that’s the date on the invoice.  I may have ordered it overnight on the 2nd.  Attempted delivery yesterday (8th), and picked up at the PO this morning (had to sign for it).

I had placed an order with Toque on Jan 28th, and I’m still waiting.  I figured this box was from Toque - was surprised to see it from Mr. Snuff.

Close enough for this conversation.  I did notice that the return addy for Mr. Snuff was Ulster, this last time.  I doubt the difference in shipping to the US has anything to so with one being in N. Ireland and one in England, but maybe so.  Right now - my Toque order is running 9 days behind Mr. Snuff - I doubt that lag is based on location.

I suspect (just a guess) it’s Toque being a maker and retailer has a bit fuller plate (see tin supply issues), than a simple reseller.  Toque has to source raw materials, manufacture, package, market, sell, and ship.  Mr. Snuff puts in wholesale orders, loads their shelves, and sends it out.  Pretty standard stuff.

That’s just my opinion though.  I could be wrong - but it’s not something that bothers me.

Patience is a good quality for anything that has to make it’s way through customs. 

My order made it at about the 3 week mark from order date. 

Placed an order on the 17th of Feb. losing all hope of a quick delivery after revisiting this thread. Looks like I’m stuck with American Dental Sweet being my only snuff for a few more weeks. :((

@You never know SantamourJr - you might get it as soon as tomorrow.  The orders seemed to be problematic around January and early February, but things might be back to normal.  My order last week took 7 days from the shipped date to get to me in Nebraska, which is how it was for me with every order prior to January.

Hit the “buy the box” option and start to build up a stockpile - I like others have quantity so delivery times are a huge issue. But it take 7-14 days to Canada.

Code isn’t working for me. I enter the code and it does not seem to remove the shipping charge. I don’t want to confirm the order without the code working

Codes only work for me in classic view for some reason, if you’re on a mobile.

I found out too late sandwich. However, I did email them immediately after I placed my order to ask them to either remove the shipping charge or cancel the order since I still saw the shipping charges after entering the code and placing the order. They emailed me back (mark was the employee) 12 hours later to tell me the package had already been shipped and they couldn’t make changes. He then told me he entered the code and it worked just fine for him. Lol. So, I’m glad the code worked for them. I’ll be ordering more often directly from the companies and shuffling less of my money through Mr. Snuff. However, I AM very happy the code worked well for their employee Mark.

@Santamour Jr Same thing happened to me. Basically they told me I was S.O.L. Was charged $12.54 for shipping.

If you’re in the United States there aren’t a lot of places to purchase snuff; certainly the majority of companies don’t sell their products directly to the consumer so Mr. Snuff is going to be yr. best option for many snuffs.

It is, however, a drag about the code.  I’ve fired vendors for things like that; Mark should have a) checked his email before twelve hours had elapsed: the fact that your order had already shipped when he deigned to reply means that it was during business hours; and b) refunded you the shipping cost, since you clearly knew about the code at the time your order was placed.  The fact that he did neither makes me not want to order from them again.  But for good or ill, Mr. Snuff has become well nigh indispensable since the PACT Act was passed.  I think Wilson’s of Sharrow has stopped selling directly to American customers, and if you wish for any Indian snuffs not offered by Hookah1 (imho one of the best-kept secrets in America) there’s no avoiding Mr. Snuff.

Fwiw McChrystal’s and Toque have their own websites; McChrystal’s has a separate website for Americans and is currently offering free shipping to the States with any order over twenty dollars. 

Placed my order with Mr.Snuff today 4/18. I’n near San Francisco. I had an order from Toque make it to me earlier this month in 7 calendar days…Really nice. So we’ll see about Mr.Snuff.Last time i ordered from them it took 15 days and when it arrived, it had been opened and retaped by US Customs and Border Protection.

I’m in Georgia. I ordered with Mr. Snuff on March 27th and as of 4/19, I’m still waiting. :(   I paid the expensive shipping too.  My first order only took about 10 days.  

@wonderfvl…ouch,thats an irritating delay! Just curious, do you find the tracked shipping makes any difference? Ive never used it cuz i figured it would really annoy me seeing that its been sitting at port while our kind folks with customs ponder their navels and i couldnt do anything about it…yet knowing where it is,for a large shipment at least,may be a comfort?

Guess I’m fortunate. Orders take about 10 days max to Philadelphia. Too bad I’m only home once every two months. @SantamourJr If you could tell me how to get my hands on some of that Dental Sweet, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve had no success with that one.

@Chicago_CA  I’ve located my shipment.  It arrived in the US 3/31 and has been in customs/usps since then.  Twenty days since arrival in the US, and it finally shows it should be out for delivery today.  We’ll see how Atlanta usps handles it now. 

thats insane. usually takes 2 days max from Ireland to NYC, then customs is 2-3 days, then 2-3 days from NYC to Boston.

My normal wait time is 8 days from placing the order to receiving it.

Yeah, thats what really irritates me. I dont even mind so much if they open it and have a look as long as they just get on with it. Arbitrarily setting it off in a bin for whatever reason for however long is bothersome! Well at least its on the way to you now.hope it gets there soon!

I’d say there’s still hope for you @Codyg140.  I’ve had a similar experience (luckily only one out of the many Mr. Snuff orders).  After getting an order that only took a week, I figured my previous order must have gotten lost.  I waited as long as I could before emailing Mr. Snuff, and about an hour after I sent that email, the package showed up lol.  You’re bound to get it within the week.

Almost two weeks now… killing me. Don’t understand why my snus gets here in 2 - 3 days from Sweden, but two weeks from Ireland… hmph.

Order arrived today, took a month but all is well and my nose is happy!

I just placed another order today (5/6/16), destination Atlanta, GA.  It will be interesting to see if customs sits on this one.  First order took about 11 days. Second order took about 30days. Third order TBA!    Wish me luck

For instance, my orders go from Mr Snuff to NYC in usually two days, then two days in Customs, and 2-3 days shipping from NYC to Boston…
Wonder if the Customs location is different? I’m sure that’s where the hold up is.
