Mr. Snuff Captcha Not Working

Never had this happen before. Every time I complete the captcha and get the green Checkmark, once I hit Submit it says “Your answer wasn’t correct” and makes me do it again. Rinse and repeat.

I’m logging in through Google, if that makes a difference.

I’m having the same problem. Logging in directly for what that’s worth. Getting this when trying to complete an order.

I just exchanged emails with support, and they think it has something to do with your browser cache. The suggested opening an incognito window. I just tried it with a browser I have installed but haven’t used. Worked just fine.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Captcha, but I use my Amazon credentials to log-in - no issues logging in at .co.uk, least not for me.

The problem is intermittent but definitely real. I couldn’t reproduce it today but I have seen it before.

Unfortunately the captcha is a built in Shopify feature meaning we can’t affect how it works; but we can toggle it on or off, so we have removed it from mrsnuff.com for now and will monitor to see if bots ever actually try to create bogus accounts.

And if the captcha does prove necessary then we are rolling out a new shopify theme soon which will probably sort out the internal glitch.
