For the last week or so, every time I attempt to access the Mr. Snuff site, my Norton system tells me that it is “a known fraudulant site” and strongly attempts to dissuade me from visiting the site. I have never had any problems with Mr. Snuff and was wondering if anybody else was getting flags from their Norton System.
Could it be some form of subterfuge directed against any site that markets tobacco products?
Zone Alarm AV is not flagging it.

I don’t think so man. Norton is notorious for being horrible. Download AVG Free ( for virus ) Download malwarebytes ( for malware ) Don’t run them at the same time and if your PC is slow just scan with malewarebytes once but keep AVG open in the background for constant protection. Both are free and are MILES better than norton.
AVG Free + malwarebytes work great. Every now and then I will run malwarebytes along with adwcleaner. No problems in years.
I concur, but I’m not a huge fan of AVG. I use Webroot personally and have had good success with that. But Norton… get something else. Not Trend Micro either. Just make sure you uninstall Norton before trying to add any other AV
Well , just processed an order, we’ll see what happens
im not such a huge fan of AVG anymore either, used to be a big supporter. its just far too heavy now for its not great level of reliability. i prefer antivir, and maybe avast for the less savvy user. though i use mac these days so i just have sophos free.
I just got an e-mail from Mr. Snuff… I advised them about the problem before I posted this. They said that there was one item/problem that was causing the issue and that it has been taken care of. They appreciated notification.
