just picked up my order from the post office (they dont seem to knock these days!). Lots of interesting stuff to try! I was especially keen to try the blueberry I have criticised previously. Upon opening the tin, I was greeted with a good whiff of the blueberry. Great stuff I am very pleased.
Wow, bish, that must have been a huge order for them to not leave it in your mailbox! I’ve been curious about the blueberry and blueberry menthol. Maybe I’ll include that in my next order. But for now I am LOVING my St. Clements that arrived yesterday – Absolutely amazing.
Toque Blueberry is fast becoming a favorite of mine. It mixes amazingly well with Star Scotch
Certainly whiffier than my previous tin. I bought Blueberry, Whiskey and Honey, Violet, Lavender, Coke, SP Extra, Berwick Brown, Cherry, Peanut Butter and Raspberry. I like florals, the violet and lavender are lovely. Raspberry and Cherry are typical Toque, ie smell exactly like the items in question. I like the soapy Berwick Brown alot also. Peanut Butter is subtle but pleasant-more like sniffing a pack of salted peanuts than peanut butter imho. All good.
bish777…I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…You haven’t tried the Coke until you’ve tried it well chilled.
I’ll give that a try. Certainly very good as Is, if it can be even better then thats a plus!
I want to go and splurge on Toque now, despite the fact my birthdays about two weeks away and I can just get a load from my family then. I’m a blueberry menthol fanatic, I just adore the flavour, but at the same time theres so many others I love and would happily buy a few tins of (If I knew I wouldnt regret checking my bank statement later)
I’ve noticed that most Toques, when opened initially are actually hard to get some scent off. Having aired them out for an hour yesterday and put them to bed for the night, coming back today they are far more pungent. Anyone get that?
Excellent. Kudos Rod, good stuff as usual-I would have got it next day but the postman didnt knock and carded me! Had to wait till tuesday to get it from the depot.
Chocolate gets better and better in the nose the more it airs. I live in Ga. USA and the more I leave the tin open the better the flavor gets.
