Recently I’ve tried Molens Bon Bon, Musinotabak and Pompadour, and find I really like them. Seems to me like they pack a great nicotine punch too. But I’m nowhere near being able to identify the flavors in them. I’d appreciate some assistance if you folks have used them too. Pompadour is said to have a clove flavor, but if so it’s too subtle to me. I tried adding a little McChrystal’s Clove with some and that really made a nice combination! I think Bon Bon is my favorite but all I can say is I think I detect a slight floral going on there. Am I too far off track? The base of all of them is different than anything else I’ve tried. It tastes like nothing so much as Lucky Strike to me, which is a wonderful gift. But what kind of tobacco is this? I love it.
@ddavelarsen: When you go to the English part of our website “www.snuifmolens.nl” and take the tab “The Shop” you will find all of our snuffs and a short description of the tastes and ingredients. Jaap Bes.
Thank you Mr Bes! I will look. Thanks for your great snuffs, I really like all that I’ve tried.
I may have to place an order soon, and for spices too! So much good stuff. Very interesting history too. Had someone asked me I’d have said the base tobacco in those I’ve tried was Virginia, so I feel pretty good about my beginning snuff experience.
