moistening white elephnt

is it possible to moisten white elephant and not ruin it. or is this not dviseable? its too dusty and it always hit my lugs. i think by moistening it. it may be easier to take

I wouldn’t do that. But hey; I guess you coul take a small portion out and put in in a little container with a damp (unused) cigarette filter. Whites, scotches and toast are by their nature fine and dusty, making them somewhat difficult to take. Personally I’d suggest dabbing them inside the nose, rather than snuffing in the normal way. I’ve been doing these for a good while and they still get me in the throat on the odd occasion. A bit more refinement in your techinque will probably allow you to enjoy these types of snuffs more of the time

ive yried the nose thing. it doesnt go to the bck of the the throat. t more shoots to my lungs regardless of how easy i breat it in ive tried very light short breaths and even then it doesnt seem to help

ive successfully moistened it now i can tke large pinches without it going to my chest

The best way to moisten snuff is through evaporation - take a bottlecap (clean it with alcohol first) put some water in it (preferably distilled) and let it sit in the middle of the tub for a few days. I will tell you though that you do get used to white snuffs it just takes a few months. You don’t want to sniff them really at all unless your nose is stuffed. Rather do a slow yawn with your mouth closed, as in part your jaws slowly with your lips sealed. Even then you will cough at first but not nearly as much. Usually after taking a couple pinches this way I let it sit in the nose for 15-20 seconds then exhale through my nose to expel any snuff not stuck to the inside of the nose (a small cloud will come out) and plenty will still be in there to enjoy the scent and potent effect.

Please check out my experiments with moistening the similar Dholakia White. It may be of help to you with White Elephant. http://www.snuffhouse.org/discussion/8359/taming-dholakia-white-cheating#latest
