I have always struggled with very fine snuffs, but like the flavour of some of them, such as High Dry Toast. For the most part I talk dark plain snuffs that are moist and not so fine, up to coarse moist Rappees, and stuff like NTSU and TAXI.

I had an idea a few mouths back, I got some Dark Pappee, plus a little TAXI Red, and some High Dry Toast and blended them together. The results were much better than I expected. The fine dry snuff stuck to the moist coarse snuff. It is easy to take and the nicotine hit is amazing!

I had an old tin of White Elephant lying about and tried a similar mix using it in place of High Dry Toast, this I call “Brown Elephant”.

Anyone else tried this sort of mixing?

I usually mix together snuffs of the same family…SP with SP, toast with toast, floral with floral and so on. I’ve created too many Frankensnuffs over the years that didn’t turn out well so now I’m more careful about mixing things together. But anyway, it’s fun to create custom snuffs.
