Well after lurking for a few weeks, and defusing a very tense and miserable near separation in my marriage, things are now improved enough to for me to come out of my dark little corner. That being said, The end of last month I was procuring whole leaf tobacco for snuff making. I order from a website I had been pointed to me, that site being http://tobaccotalk.itgo.com/ . Now with him being in PA my order and Money Order should have been there overnight, 2 days tops. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I have not gotten the tobacco I ordered, any response from Mr. DiFrancesco via snail mail, or any response to my e-mails. Unless something changes post haste, I suggest anyone looking for Whole Leaf avoid this guy like the plague since He hasn’t even responded to me.

I myself have a problem ordering from any website that’s not verified. That one there just looks like trouble IMO.
Actually I have ordered other things MANY times through a couple websites with very similar or nearly exact setups and done so with great success. Besides I stand to lose nothing since I used a Postal Money Order and can end up with my money back if I have it tracked and file a dispute and such. At the very least if he cashed it, it may be a hassle to get my money back but it will not be any fun for him.
That was good thinking. Atleast he doesn’t have any of your credit card info! Hopefully it will come through though. As we’ve all experienced, sometimes the postal service can be a little wonky!!
Also I was directed to him by another member who, by the way he talked, I thought had already done business with him so I wasn’t expecting a problem
I never use my credit card Online, I always use either a pre-paid or M.O.'s …always.
Good rule to live by…I usually use the reloadable ones from Wal Mart…just like a money order, but a little quicker. And you can load them with the exact amount you need, so no unauthorized taking of your money

@sprangalang I got in touch with him on his forum, he did get my order but it got missed and he never sent it out. He told me it is being sent out tomorrow and even upgraded me to the select tobacco instead of straight strip for no charge because of the mix up. I should get it by Friday so I will let everyone know. It appears though that he is a stand up guy after all. I’ll post when the Tobacco arrives!
go get firefox browser and download the add on “WOT”( web of trust),had you had this in your firefox browser you’d have known to avoid the site like plague,it has a terrible rating and recommends you avoid it…
@The Nose Knows Thanks for the follow up. I really wanted to try this guy’s tobacco, his prices are unbeatable and he seems like a decent fellow on the forum.
O.k. for all the naysayers (myself previously included) my tobacco arrived today. WONDERFUL PRODUCT. The Select Cigar was bundled and tied together barely a single leaf had so much as a pinhole in it and the cigarette tobacco was equally fine looking. Both bundles were still quite fresh, moist and pliable. Upon opening the box the entire first floor of my house instantly began to smell like a tobacco shop. This is QUALITY tobacco and 2 lbs for under $20 with shipping is a score. Like I said the Select Cigar is beautiful tan/brown with nary a tear or hole to be found on the leaf. ANYTHING I said negative about this guy I take back. He even rolled me a stogie from the select and included it in my package along with a hand written apology for the delay. Despite the mix up VERY GLAD to have used him and will be doing so ALOT in the future. Spranalng, go for it…just tell Dan that Matt Rowles sent ya and your on Snuffhouse.org. This guy is 100% legit and has a great fresh, quality product.
